This deck is made so with a slow opponent you can put threats on the board then sit back and relax as you assume control of the game. Against faster decks you have to play the control game till they slow down to a top deck then put out the threats they can no longer answer to while still having plenty of counter left. Kiora, the Crashing Wave is great for when you are on the draw to balance the land drop to make it as if you assumed the play and then it is a ticking clock that takes pressure off of you to let you stabilize. with her low starting loyalty i would suggest playing her when you have a blocker on the board. plus Prophet of Kruphix just makes for an amazing set up because you can bolster your offense and know you will untap to counter what they may play next.
