To start of this isn't a deck I own or probably ever will unless the price of the individual cards drops heavily after rotating. I wanted to try a design a competitive level deck to see what I could come up with. Any and all help is appreciated.
This is a Temur aggro deck where the purpose is to get the facebeaters out swing away as early as possible.
Ramp:Elvish Mystic: The main turn 1 play getting out the 3-drops early to start swinging away.
Rattleclaw Mystic: Useful for fixing mana problems that might happen early on and also provides a potential extra beater.
Beaters:
Fanatic of Xenagos
: Probably one of my favorite cards ever it just screams aggression to me. Drop him turn 2 with the elf and he can swing for 4 immediately or for 4 every turn after that.
Heir of the Wilds
: Basically a 3/3 for 2 and the deathtouch means he'll probably get through unless my opponent wants to lose a creature or he can be held back to block beaters of their own.
Flamewake Phoenix
: A constant 2 in the air and with the Shaman opponents are forced to answer him and it only costs 1 to bring him back.
Goblin Rabblemaster: A decent beater that helps flood the board with tiny but not insignificant threats.
Savage Knuckleblade: An all around awesome card. Another possible 4/4 threat on turn 2. Bounce him to avoid removal, pump to get past Siege Rhinos and Polukranos and others and will swing the turn he comes back down.
Shaman of the Great Hunt
: The general of this army. Makes my other threats even more threatening, refills my hand and in the age old adage he leads from the front by being a decent threat himself.
Utility:Xenagos, the Reveler: Middle ability gives me more threats so I don't have to commit all my creatures to the board. +1 Will let me activate the Shaman's card draw. His ultimate can act as a finisher or to refill the board after a wipe.
Archetype of Aggression: Lets my creatures get more damage through and become bigger threats with the Shaman out.
Monastery Siege: Khans lets me sift through my draws and avoid being land flooded.Dragons helps thwart control decks.
Bow of Nylea: Deathtouch and Trample all around with the Archetype out. A bit of life gain to prevent being out-aggroed and prevention from being decked.
lighting strike
: Cheap removal and possible finisher.
Titanic Growth: To get that last bit of damage through or to get through large blockers like
Prognostic Sphinx
,
Silumgar, the Drifting Death
or PearlLake Ancient.
Stubborn Denial: Say no to board wipes, Elspeth, Sun's Champion or other finishers and all around not good stuff.
Sideboard: The sideboard is mainly for a midrange plan. More counterspells to stop removal, wipes and walkers. Anger of the Gods for token and other aggro decks.
