alulien, always with the good suggestions. With those and the Athreos, God of Passage inclusion over Erebos, God of the Dead, my curve is down .2, which may be of assistance in those pesky aggro matches. I like the list now, and I'll see how it does next week.

Could you take a look at my build of a similar deck w/out Master of the Feast?
The link doesn't work for it, but here it is. Thank you!http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/15-08-15-competitive-mono-black-devotion/

Looks pretty good, I don't have any theros cards, but they all look cheap, have you tried mardu sack warriors? So dirty. It's not too expensive to put together either

Mainboard:
-2 Whip of Erebos -1 Pharika's Cure
+3 Butcher's Glee
Why? Because combat tricks. But really, lifelink, regen and +3 power at instant speed is huge for you in almost any game 1 matchup (fuck you, control) and ESPECIALLY against RDW. Even your shittiest creature targeted with that gains you 5 life and will probably kill whatever is blocking/it's blocking.
Sideboard:
-1 Self-Inflicted Wound -1 Ultimate Price -1 Languish
+3 Surge of Righteousness
I think you're stronger against GW than you are BR, so this way you can really bring the pain in RDW matchups post-board. I think Languish is best as a 1-of because it wipes so much of your board whereas Drown in Sorrow leaves a lot of your stuff but is still relevant vs RDW. Your sideboard package against RDW would be 3x Surge, 2x Price, 3x Drown, 1x Languish... add that to the 3x Butcher's and 2x Pharika's main... lots of lifegain and lots of removal.
