if you want any help i have a Maze's End deck, master of the maze, Crackling Perimeter would work well in here.

OKAY, SO THIS BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF MY AZORIUS DECK. I'm so mad right now. This deck is delightfully evil.

July 12, 2013 5:19 p.m.

this actually is a low power maze deck, doesn't play enough removal or gates or gate finders. period. went very badly against my maze's end deck.

I'm running just as many gatecreepers as you man. I actually have, theoretically at least, 12 gatecreepers with my bounces. Its slow, its bad, its silly.

"And the possibility to gain 48 life off one Saruli Gatekeepers , uff. "

This is incorrect. You'll only gain 7, no matter how many gates you have, as long as it's at least 2.

I understand Tarrasmeister, but if I bounce it back to my hand at the end of their turn and replay it 7 times I gain 7x7 life which is 48. Its unlikely but I've done it.

Or 49. I can't math.

July 30, 2013 7:43 p.m.

How can you bounce it back 6 times?

I had Deputy of Acquittals in here before.

I'm not too big of a fan of Riot Control. I think you'd do better with Far/Away and Turn/Burn.

No, rather than Turn/Burn or Far/Away, you'd do better with that interesting card Curse of Exhaustion. And hey, board sweepers are probably not a bad thing with your deck being land based for a win

August 7, 2013 2:05 p.m.

quakenbake says... #16

Excellent suggestions. I think Curse of Exhaustion would be a little slow. I'll try out turning and burning from far away.

I honestly don't understand the point trying to be achieved

Win with lands.

I really like the inaction the injunction in here. I've been working on a similar deck that is very similar. I would like to run 4x fog. It gives you a chance to do something for a turn besides tapping out to deal with threats.

quakenbake says... #20

Yeah that's an idea. I'll probably have that sideboard for aggro so I don't have to take the cackler, burning tree-lightning mauler/ash zealot damage turn 2.

I love Inaction Injunction I really do, I own 3x foils just because I love it.

But we both know it sucks when you go up against a control deck and they refuse to play creatures, and you can't cast the Inaction Injunction . you know what you can cast no matter what, Divination .

+1 for useless end deck haha

seriously though, I've had bad luck against this brew at my LGS fnm's the few times I've run across it, back in ISD/RTR standard, I was running

deck chart Obzedat, Lording Innistrad

Modern Behgz Playtest

and I got fogged out by a maze's end brew despite having out:

Sorin, Lord of Innistrad I had two of his emblems active.

Master Biomancer was beefed from the emblem's then I played a second Master Biomancer who got +4 counters from the first one so it was 2+4+ 2 sorin emblems making it a 8/10 Master Biomancer so anything I played would get +8 from him and +4 from the first.

then I proceeded to play Restoration Angel targeting the first Master Biomancer .

Then I played Thragtusk .

Then Angel of Serenity .

Then Sphinx's Revelation .

The opponent fogged me with the 16+ fog effects he had in his maze's end brew. My board state was insane, and he just kept fogging til he had 10 gates and he auto won. But it was fun to see my deck pop off more than it ever should have needed to.

That sounds super silly man. I run less fog in favor of harder removal and lifegain for the very reason injunction isn't the best. Just makes for better matchups all around. Easy sideboarding too.

I really like that you are using some more removal, I feel that the Dramatic Rescue could be replaced with something more permanent in terms of removal. Or possibly more fogs as a fog essentially does the same thing as bouncing a creature in the sense that its just going to swing again next turn
