Remand isn't standard.Other than that, looks amazing! Don't forget Diabolic Revelation as a standard tutor.

Oops! Don't know how Remand slipped in there. I'll swap it for Diabolic Revelation for now, until I have time to go through and refine the card selections.

I'd suggest maybe 10-20 more cards, as 222 seems a little light for a Battle of Wits deck. How about Index , to help you get annoying things in the order that you want to get them?
Also, if you're going full-on troll here, and you're in green, what about the likes of Fog , Clinging Mists , Blunt the Assault , etc.? Also Fog Bank s! Frustrating, impractical, and keeps you alive a little longer! If only you could use them to shuffle your library some way!
Whoa, actually: Void Stalker ! Annoying, removes threats, AND requires a shuffle!
+1 for evil

All the cards you mention definitely have a place here. In fact, the current build was thrown together rather quickly just to present the basic concept, but ultimately it will need to be updated for Standard in October and all of those cards will help do that. I do intend to up the total size to around 240 cards, so I'll throw those suggestions in now and worry about what to remove later.
Thanks for the tips!

@iConcede Sure thing! Also, I'm all curious about this puzzle box of which you speak. That idea is clever, totally appropriate, and evil in the highest order.

This is the best battle of wits deck ive seen on here so far. I know ur just trying to troll but this may actually do somewhat well. +1 for a nice build. Go check out my deck please!

Im really curious tho... can u really shuffle it in ur hands if it is double sleeves? lol
July 17, 2012 5:08 a.m.
I hope to have more details on the puzzle box soon, and will post pics here when it's finished. I've got a friend working on it so the ball is in his court on that one.
@wei3721:
I think most Battle of Wits decks have to split the deck into multiple piles and shuffle them separately, then shuffle them into each other (sounds dirty). The double-sleeving will certainly make it more difficult, but also more lol-worthy. My biggest concern is excess air in the sleeves, making it want to lean to one side while in a single stack. It might need a weight at the top for stabilization (perhaps a large, heavy spindown life counter), or maybe the deck box could somehow be designed to convert into a library stand. Either way, the looks you get from your opponent make it totally worth it.

are u allow to do that? shuffling in different piles? I thot the rule is u must be able to shuffle the whole thing in ur hands? as for putting on table... use a large name card holder... or even those card dispenser in casino!!~~ lol

The only thing better if you put a combination lock on the puzzle box, and act like you've forgotten the combination lol
July 18, 2012 5:12 p.m.
Haha, yeah. Another thought I had was to play different languages of each card and then forget what the card says, thus having to pull out your phone and look it up. So many ways to troll!

Another idea is to "acidentally" drop your deck, and spend a long time picking each one up, then turning them up, then shuffling again.

First off, did you make those sleeves yourself? if you didn't, where in the hell do I find them because they are awesome!!! As a fellow troll-face player, just in a different way ( see Birth of the Destroyer) I love this deck. While I prefer to play huge flashy combos, you just frustrate people in every way possible. keeping trolling, dude. Keep trolling. let me know how you do in an FNM tournament, man. +1

For the different languages, act like your phone ran out of battery, then proceed to go around the event, looking for someone that speeks the language. This works best at grand prix.

i second the video thing! Please post!
I also think you should aquire a needlessly huge life counter! I just thought, if you need one to be especially enormous, you can use a traditional soccer ball by writing 1-20 on the twenty white hexagons on the ball (yes there are exactly twenty of them... I checked). And, for more trolling, if they ask why you're bringing a soccer ball to the tournament you can simply explain that its a "truncated icosahedron" that has the perfect amount of white hexagon spaces! (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Truncated_icosahedron)
You can even just pretend to be ignorant that the ball has anything to do with sports and continually claim that you "found a truncated icosahedron for a life counter." :D another thought: find an obscenely large pedestal, goblet, or bowl to keep the truncated icosahedron from rolling off the table and displaying it for all to see.... upon reflection this whole thing may be going too far...

HAHA nice. I would totally do that thing with the soccer ball. And no, it hasn't gone too far. have you seen the average trollface comic involving magnets? they are outrageous! this thread has plenty of room to grow. Another idea is to get three more puzzle boxes, all alike. pretend you forgot which box the deck is in and spend huge amounts of time unlocking them to find out what box its in. ;-P
July 19, 2012 8:23 p.m.
Just when I think this deck has reached maximum troll potential, I come on here and see several new suggestions that are simply amazing. Looking for a translator for foreign cards is great, and that soccer ball idea is epic. Keep the ideas coming, I'm not sure how many we'll be able to include in a single FNM, but at the very least we could try mixing it up each time with a few different troll methods.
July 19, 2012 8:42 p.m.
And did you buy the troll sleeves, or did you make them yourself? I want some.
July 19, 2012 9:16 p.m.
The image was made by a friend, and we will be getting them custom printed in bulk for ourselves and anyone else who wants to troll. :)
