For some reason, I'm the guy everybody goes to to learn how to play magic. This has become such a common occurrence that I decided to build a series of beginner decks, designed to be played against each other and be relatively simple. I used a few rules to guide myself:- all 7 basic card types must be represented- no more than 3 rares (including the mandatory planeswalker)- total deck value should be minimal (no more than $30)- keywords (e.g. lifelink, trample, etc.) must be explained on the card via reminder text.

This is the newest iteration of one of my oldest and most favorite decks. I love Corrupt. This deck stalls until turn 6 with removal, regenerators, and life-gain, then corrupts the opponent to death.
