My very budget take on the most consistant hyper aggro in modern.
Vines of the Vastwood is intentionally in over Ghor-Clan Rampager even though it can be countered and does not have the option of being a creature because Ghor-Clan Rampager is bloodrushed near always anyway and it counts as a green spell for Talara's Battalion. It can also be cast defensivly and nutralize most removal.
Burning-Tree Emissary is onle of the biggest enablers in the deck, my biggest problem with it is the restricted colors it makes, Manamorphose sidesteps this for the low cost of nothing.
Tattermunge Maniac in addition to Manamorphose can help with dropping 2 one-drops by fufilling either side of the G/R mana produced by Burning-Tree Emissary or imperfact land drops. I do really feel that most Gruul lists are too red heavy.
Kird Ape is not in this deck because without Stomping grounds and fetches it becomes unreliable. While there is no replacement that does its job perfactly(the 3 toughness is huge for evolve) there are many agressive 1 drops avalible.
Same story for Flinthoof Boar.
Stormblood Berserker is a fantastic card though it has a duelistic relationship with evolve. Without aid from a Lightning Bolt it can not trigger evolve precombate which is when we would prefer it but it will usualy trigger it after. Currently compeating for a slot against Keldon Marauders.
Talara's Battalion in this deck is arguably better than Tarmogoyf in this deck with both Burning-Tree Emissary and Manamorphose allowing it to be played turn 2. Not to mention being 1/32nd the cost.
Vexing Devil while not uncomon in Zoo lists is I feel better than most any one-drop avalible. Cool thing is that it still triggers evolve (at 4 no less) even if they take the damage.
Land needs some work but other than that it plays solidly.
