The idea of the deck is to mill quickly and without any chance of blocking. Not many people run anti-artifact in their mainboard, so this has a good chance of getting at least the first win.

Tormod's Crypt is free, so when that comes out there's already a target for Phylactery Lich. Otherwise an Invisible Stalker might come out with the Trepanation Blade for unblockable mill power. Once that swing happens, tap Tormod's Crypt to exile to prevent Flashback/Scavenge. Putting the phylactery counter on Stuffy Doll makes them nearly unstoppable, especially if you use Wingcrafter to give flying.

When the Cipher mechanic starts up, this could be really devastating!
