Well, I mean, I figured it meant that you couldn't tap colorless for it... seems like if it meant different colors, it would say that :P

He's an easy target when you get him out against aggro decks. Basically, he's a 5 mana Glimpse, then he dies--not exactly efficient.

@lil_cheez - Yeah, basically :P
@iamacasual - I swapped him with an island, to be safe & a Twincast to double something useful :P

Going back to EE, you can only sunburst it for 2. Use RB for enchantment hate.

Think about Torpor Orb to shut down Twin and to a lesser extent Faeries now that BB was unbanned.

Because Torpor Orb doesn't let Twin make infinite swingers, and against BB it doesn't let Spellstutter Sprite counter a CMC X or less where X is # of faeries they control, nor does it let Clique look at your hand.

Or better yet, just put 1-2 Illness in the Ranks in your SB and you're set agaist both of those decks in addition to anyone using B/W token decks or splashing Lingering Souls in their deck.

@scarmask - Thanx
@iamacasual & GeminiSpartanX - I'm kind of on the fence with this choice... I'd add both I think if I can find a good SB swap. I guess I could kick the Nihil Spellbomb for a couple Illness, but idk for the orb...

I think you should reconsider Mindcrank and Duskmantle Guildmage . If you get the Guildmage out and activate his first ability, then drop a Thought Scour or any other milling effect you'll activate an infinite mill (even though it technically kills them before their library is empty).

My "freind" did that to me once. Emphasis on the ONCE.

Don't do Duskmantle Guildmage. It's too slow and too vulnerable.

@Mxyzptlk - I would in just about a different mill deck :P
Mainly the issue is this deck does no damage itself, so it's worthless without both. I mean, look at the deck and find 2-4 cards to swap that won't be more effective and consistent?
For example, this is the first choice I'd have:
-3 Mesmeric Orb
-1 Darkness
+2 Mindcrank
+2 Duskmantle Guildmage
Which would just barely make it viable. (I think I'm going to toss together a deck that would do that well, though)
Then there's more subtle reasons, that iamacasual is pointing out.

Here is a link
Mindcranked Mayhem
I added Phenax, God of Deception
to the mix :P It might make it too much though. I'm considering going 2 different ways with it.

I agree 100% with Torpor Orb that card shuts down faeries so hard that they might as well concede if they don't hit Cryptic Command in the next two turns. Phenax is not what this deck needs, and I'm actually a fan of Mesmeric Orb . It seems really good against ramp decks and even still, decent against fair decks. Question is, how are you beating Tron? AND, where are you gaining card advantage? Jace's Phantasm ?

No no, you read EE right the first time--it's for each color mana, not each mana tapped.
