I wanted to build the best possible deck using only cards available in Beta (would have gone with Alpha, but no Volcanic Islands in Alpha). I am using modern deckbuilding rules (4-of rule, and 60 cards per deck), but no banned or restricted list.

This deck usually goes off on turn 1, but sometimes takes a turn or two more. It can also whiff entirely, but that is true of any deck.

How it works: Cast Time Walk as much as possible. Demonic Tutor for it as well. Use Timetwister to put your Timewalks and Tutors back into your deck and to draw more cards. Roughly the same deal with Wheel of Fortune. You should be drawing enough mana artifacts that you can continuously cast more and more draw spells, and more and more Time Walks. If you run out of gas, just end the turn, and take your next one. You should have enough mana to Braingeyser for at least 10 cards. Keep tutoring for Time Walks and Timetwisters to keep the chain going. Once you have 20 mana available, tutor for Fireball, and end the turn. Take your next extra turn, and then Fireball for 20+ damage. You can also Fireball early for <20, and then Timetwister it back into your deck, then Tutor for it and use it again to finish the job (this is a multi-turn process, of course).
