I see your reasoning, the only reason why I use more Shard Volleys than Searing Blazes is because Searing Blazes are almost useless unless you get the land drop, with the Shard Volleys I use those as the "Fireblast" of modern even though it is much weaker. In my experience of playing I prefer to use at most 3 Searing Blazes when it comes to burn just because of the low land "income"

I would up the amount of fetches in the deck to make it "Landfall Boros" if you will. I understand that this might not be the direction you want to go but at least check it out.
Mainboard:-5 Mountain, +1 Plains, +2 Wooded Foothills,+2 Scalding Tarn, -4 Vexing Devil, +4 Steppe Lynx, -4 Shard Volley, +2 Searing Blaze, +2 Alesha, Who Smiles at Death, -2 Grim Lavamancer, -2 Monastery Swiftspear, +4 Soulfire Grand Master.
Sideboard: +2 Blind Obedience.
Explanation:
If you go for landfall you need 10-12 fetches. You also need one basic Plains for when you have Blood Moon out. Vexing Devil is never what you want him to be. It's a great card to have if Treasure Cruise was still legal so Steppe Lynx is a good alternative and in theme with the landfall. Searing Blaze over Shard Volley again landfall, fetches, you get the idea.Alesha, Who Smiles at Death is there to bring your other creature cards back and also to keep Affinity and Infest in check with First Strike. Soulfire Grand Master works great with Eidolon of the Great Revel as it nets you +1 life for every spell you resolve. The Blind Obedience in the SB is for Splinter Twin and to allow you to amplify all your cheap burn. Let me know what you think.

Yes, I would agree with your suggestions completely, it looks very good, although I am not going for that kind of aggro. I am more trying to just do direct damage by using spells like Lightning Bolt to help me do it. I have Vexing Devil because he is a strong creature and my opponent almost always will take the 4 damage from him so that they don't have to deal with him. The type of deck you suggested to me above does seem like my standard deck a little bit (which I will be publishing soon). Thank you for your suggestion though I really appreciate it!

It's okay as I said I understand that it is a different deck. That said I still believe that you should include a single Plains for the games that Blood Moon is on the battlefield.

Good idea, although if I was to do that then I would just side out some of the cards that would require white with Skullcrack and Searing Blaze

Why are you running vexing devil? He's always dealt with the way your opponent can handle best. He'll almost always see himself killed or blocked and killed and he's really bad on the draw. I'd drop him for 2 more swiftspear, another Lightning Helix and another Searing Blaze

I keep Vexing Devil in there because he is a very strong creature for 1, or he would be like a Lava Spike except +1 damage, think of all the strong creatures you can kill with a 4/3!

I would swap out two of the shard volley's into the side board and the two searing blazes in.I am relatively new to burn, but it just seems like that it is a little counterproductive if you draw into 3 of volleys.
