Intro

I started playing magic in 2008 with a booster box of unhinged. I was a passive blue player that bought every counter in the shop that I went to. I mostly didn't attack, and didn't want anyone to attack me. This was 8 years ago. Since then I bought boosters, singles off ebay, then found tcgplayer and tapped out, this led me deep into the world of Magic the Gathering, and here I am today at least 20 decks later with something to show for it.

Meet Beware the Patrol's Mantle

Playstyle

The deck is inteded for casual play. It contains four (4) Sol Rings and isn't legal in any format. Beware the Patrol's Mantle was designed for Kitchen Table Magic.

The Goal is to create infinite tokens with Patrol Signaler, Paradise Mantle and Heartstone combo. You won't always pull the right cards for the combo, I am in the process of writing a how to save the game guide for this deck.

It runs 2 Swamp, 2 Plains, 4 Godless Shrine, 4 Marsh Flats, 2 Flooded Strand, 2 Bloodstained Mire. All the Fetch lands allows me to thin my deck for better draws and the shock lands allow me to play whatever color I'm missing. I ran Isolated Chapel in an early iteration, but I didn't see the use of using it if I drew it in my opening hand.

The deck doesn't always draw well so I splashed in black. This allows me to tutor in anything I need with Vampiric Tutor and Demonic Tutor.
