My take on an ally based deck with the benefit of lifegain in it. Using Rally we gain a crapton of life on top of haveing board threats, so here is a great breakdown of combos and cards in the deck.

Mainboard
Bloodsoaked Champion =
Great 1 drop that gets the game rolling, also can come back from the grave if it dies after combat. Also triggers Zulaport's ability a lot.
Kalastria Healer
=
One of the main components to the lifegaining, it allows you to quickly ramp in the life as well as dealing damage to the opponent without having to lift a finger.
Zulaport Cutthroat =
Gaining life off of a creature dying, but dealing damage at the same time makes it even better.
Lantern Scout
=
Gives lifelink if Sorin isn't on the field and activate rally triggers.
Drana, Liberator of Malakir =
BFZ's equivalent of a Brimaz in the case that it is op for being 3 cost. Her ability is great in itself, but the gods decided that that wasn't enough, so they gave her first-strike and flying. Effectively ruling over the rest of the 3 drop creatures.
Brutal Hordechief
=
This guy can just ruin the enemy. His passive ability is great in itself, basically a
Foul-Tongue Shriek
, but every turn and you don't have to pay for it. Then they added his active ability which makes it so that the enemy has to block only a crappy 1/1 while you get to swing freely with the rest of your group of creatures. Neat huh?
Wingmate Roc =
Wingmate Roc, should be the end all card for this deck. Its a natural 3/4 with an ability to put ANOTHER 3/4 on the field. And not only that, but it has flying. which gets around most other creatures. The only drawback that I don't like is that to activate his lifegain ability, you have to attack with it. But gaining 4 or 5 life just from attacking alone is great.
Swift Reckoning
//Bone Splinters =
Great cheap removal. Bone splinters also activate's zulaport's ability as well. Just use it on the knight ally from Gideon or Bloodsoaked Champion
Valorous Stance =
A card that gives you the ultimate choice, protect your creature or get rid of the buffed up creature that the opponent has.
Read the Bones =
Very good draw mechanic that lets you scry before hand, that way you don't only draw into unneeded lands.
Gideon, Ally of Zendikar =
Really great and simple planeswalker, drop him down, use his and activate all the Rallys in the world.
Sorin, Solemn Visitor =
Gives all creatures a +1/0 buff and lifelink, UNTILL YOUR NEXT TURN. not until end of turn, but your next upkeep.

The Sideboard
Duress =
For the control matchup. It lets you see their hand on turn 1 so that you can better prepare for it later in the game.
Hallowed Moonlight
=
Completely shuts down hangerback's ability. Also stops the goblin token generators. Cantrips as well, making it a great card.
Surge of Righteousness
=
Because Atarka Red is a pain in the @$$ and I don't want to have to deal with it. Let them buff up a guy then make them waste all of those cards with this.
Infinite Obliteration =
A great way to ruins someone's combo deck really quickly.
Ruinous Path
=
Although its a crappy Hero's Downfall, its all that we got.
Stasis Snare =
Removal at the drop of a hat, its also great because is only targets creatures, so a stasis snare onto an opponents stasis snare isn't an option like it was with Banishing Light.
Utter End =
Planeswalker removal, and exile anything with indestructible. The only downside is that you have to leave your mana open, becoming reactionary instead of aggressive. But against some decks thats okay.

Dont forget to +1 Upvote, it really helps
