Hallowed Moonlight is one route if you want to play defensively against aristocrats, but Anafenza, the Foremost gives you a more aggressive option. Just something to consider.

So in order to fit a second Languish main board, I see 3 options:
Option 1) Cut Dig Through Time down to 3.
Option 2) Cut Ugin, the Spirit Dragon from the MB, and remove Painful Truths from SB to make space.
Option 3) Leave MB untouched and cut Painful Truths from the SB to make room for a 2nd Languish
In all honesty I don't think I really need the 2nd Painful Truths in the SB as I have quite a bit of card advantage in the main already.
Opinions? Do you see any other options, or what would you include to help against aristocrats? People have suggest a second Languish. Hallowed Moonlight, and Anafenza, the Foremost so far.

For the aristocrats matchup, I think I prefer something like Infinite Obliteration. Their deck simply doesn't work without Zulaport Cutthroats, IMO. Obliteration is also fantastic against Ramp, which is one of the harder matchups for control. Then again, I'm playing 5-Color Bring to Light, so finding the Obliterations is a bit easier. Just a thought. Anafenza would be the best hate for Aristocrats, but Languish would help in more matchups.
I also think a Tasigur, the Golden Fang would be nice somewhere in the main 60. He survives Languish, makes Crux of Fate good in the mirror, and he provides card advantage and graveyard recursion.

I would cut a Dig.
Four Dig Through Time always seems like way too much to me. Especially for the kind of fuel it takes. Who wants to sit on an open hand of two digs?
You simply can't fuel it that fast. Not without red loot mechanics.
I don't think you're losing much by cutting down to three digs. Having more board wipe is always good as a consistent and highly aggressive aggro deck is always going to be a problem for you.

Thanks for the reply!
Just as I thought, cutting the Dig is the best options since I almost lose nothing really. You are right about casting Digs, while I often cast 3 Digs if game drag on, I can probably count the times I cast 4 in one hand. Not just that, but when you take Ojutai, Anticipate, Painful Truths, Abzan Charm in the MB, and the Prerogative in the SB I can live just as happily without a fourth Dig.
Thanks for the suggestions. Tasigur, the Golden Fang has been suggested to me so many time I might actually be tempted to include him in here.
Also what do you guys, and I am gonna forcefully drag UpperDeckerTaco in here because I can, think about Jace over Anticipate? Now I know this seem like a stupid question, but I am absolutely in love with the smaller brother of Dig. Reason I never considered the switch before is I simply didn't feel like getting Jaces due to the price, but now that they have gone down a bit, and since if I build my Super Friends deck I will have them avilable, I was considering making the switch. Pros and Cons to keeping one over the other? Or is this a no contest and Jace replaces the Anticipates?

I really couldn't suggest one over the other. In all my control attempts I've usually had both.
I guess the question you have to ask is do you really want a walker? Without a reshuffle mechanic like Day's Undoing or Learn from the Past, you'd get a lot of value off Jace, Telepath Unbound's flashback ability and he would fuel your dig through time. However as far as his creature ability, Anticipate does the same thing and more. Card in hand and a card in your graveyard. You just get to choose with Anticipate.
I guess you really have to question where you're wanting your value. Early or late game. And if you want Jace, Telepath Unbound as a major part of the deck... (which isn't something I'd turn away from... solid walker). Anticipate is a far more immediately gratifying card. Jace is for the longer game.
I want to say neutral but after listening to myself I slightly lean towards Jace.

I'm gonna put my two cents in. I am not all that big of a fan of Anticipate in standard. Here's why...if you want to play it turn 2, and you mainly used it to snag another land, why not just play more lands to ensure you hit your land does and that way you can actually cast a removal spell on turn 2 when you need of do something before turn 3 so the board doesn't get out of hand. But Anticipate is ok in a dragons build I guess.
OK so here's my opinion on Jace...I like him a lot, but not in a Dragons build.
So it would be a preference thing for the player of said deck

Thank you both for the input on Jace, Vryn's Prodigy Flip vs. Anticipate. I can always play with both and see how it goes, since I decided to go ahead and build the super friends deck I am working on since it looks like a neat-o deck to play the more I think about it, which means I will have the Jaces available to play-test in here.
I am curios though, what would you rather see fill the slots of Anticipate, UpperDeckerTaco? Should I run hand disruption in the MB, thus freeing up more SB slots? Or add 1 more land and 2 Dispels MB? What are your thoughts if you could replace Anticipate?

If you're looking to keep the same mama cost and color in that spot. Good options are Negate or Horribly Awry if not, Duress is always a great option. More and more decks are playing these type of cards main because of the impact they can have game 1 and it frees the sideboard up

Ok, I figured it was a form of a counter or hand disruption. I might mess with that since I think I can get one FNM in before I even get to mess with Jace, if work doesn't get in the way.
Thanks, UpperDeckerTaco.

TMBRLZ what does D command even do in this deck? He has no early drops to benefit the removal part of the command. D Command works flawlessly in creature based decks that start attacking on turns 2 or 3. This is not that type of deck
December 28, 2015 3:57 p.m.
Yeah I realized that after I said it. I think I thought about that originally too when I first saw the deck and decided to be rational and kept my mouth shut. But it's been a couple days and I'm not an intelligent lifeform.
I do think it has some utility sideboard though. Even as a one of it can have some utility, using your Dragons as removal and blowing up an enchantment. Also shuts down Ruinous Path and similar such.
Not totally useless, but yes given the fact that Mode 3 and 4 are highly conditional in a 7 creature deck, I retract what I just said.

Yeah I feel like all I would get from running Dromoka's Command is preventing damage from instant/sorcery and having a player sac an enchantment, which are both very situational. Putting a +1/+1 counter and making a creature fight is nice and dandy, but the soones I would be able to use that is on turn 6 after I dropped a turn 5 Ojutai, or turn 5 if I side in the Rhinos.
If I was to toss in a Command in this deck it would definately be Ojutai's Command where all the modes would be of use, even recurring a creature if I ever decide to mess with Jace although I think running both command and Jace would put me in a tough spot with slots. Best case I counter a creature and draw a card, worst case I gain 4 life and draw a card. I have always considered putting it back in instead of Silkwrap but having early answers feels more valuable against more matchups.

It went from just a song title to a full song, what next? An album? I will say Twisted Sisters is much better than Rick Astley, so I think you are winning TMBRLZ......whatever it is that's going on.

No... we're all winners here... because We are the Champions...
But as much as I wanna say this Train Kept a Rollin, I will be kind enough to derail your post... there will be no going off the rails with this Crazy Train.
