Jokes aside the more I think about it the more I want to replace anticipate with hand disruption so I can free up slots in the sideboard and mess around with Monastery Mentor or Gideon/Sorin in the side.

I feel like Monastery Mentor is a wonderful card that needs far more love before he rotates. A customer at my LGS last night and I were discussing making Boros Token Control for Standard with Mentor as the win-con.
That was a little tidbit with no direct relation to your deck. Yay!
I'm always in agreement with some Despise or Duress. The trouble I usually have though is once I start running one I feel like I need to run it's brother in the wings in case I'm playing a deck that's strictly one or the other.
But nothing is more satisfying than ripping their hand apart three times in the first two turns.

I was just looking at the new spoilers on Mythicspoiers and nothing has yet to make me want to try it in this build, but then I noticed Remorseless Punishment. I want to try that card so badly as a 1 or 2 of in the this deck. You people out there think it's a good or bad inclusion in an Esper control build?
If you are too lazy to click the link the card reads as follows:
3BB
Sorcery
Target opponent loses 5 life unless that player discards two cards or sacrifices a creature or planeswalker. Repeat this process once.

Sorry for the double post, but didn't think I was going to update anytime soon (bad habit of always resetting discussions) and wanted to make sure this would still show up in the comments!

Hell yeah, Skinning Tendrils! This is what I was waiting for to counter Aristocrats.

Like the deck, but have you considered some non-legendary dragons? My reasoning is that with your creatures you can only ever have 3 on the battlefield at once. However, I am not a dragon expert and I couldn't recommend any that I would include. :-)

Haha, no problem MorgsJ. I appreciate any comment that provokes thoughts about the integrity of the deck. The only non legendary dragon that would fit in this deck, that I can think of is Icefall Regent, however, I feel that he isn't as strong as the dragons I already have in the deck. I also don't win by flooding the board with creatures, and often I win with just 1 or 2 dragons on the board.

Not sure what that's supposed to mean Cringe hehe.
Are you saying that's your deck and it got feature on CFB? Thanks for letting me know I guess.
Are you saying you made that deck after reading the article? Thanks for letting me know I guess.
Are you saying that Green Esper is not very popular but it's a shame it isn't, but now it got feature on CFB so it will be? Cool!
I mean, sorry if I am confused, but I don't get it hehe.

Cringe thanks for the suggestion!
Immolating Glare is definitely one of the better removals to come out of OGW an it looks like it is definitely worth running. What would you suggest I take out? I think it's safe to say that it replaces Silkwrap. While Silkwrap has its uses, like hitting Jace when Immolating Glare would not, but on the other hand Immolating Glare does not limit me to early threats only, and is an answer to Mantis Rider, while with Silkwrap I would take a hit before I get to remove it.
What do you think? I think that's probably the best swap.
January 21, 2016 9:32 p.m.
The_Riddlebox probably Silkwrap, yeah. Looks like all your other spells (i.e. Dig Through Time) are pretty necessary and should keep their slots. We'll see how OGW rolls out, but I think you made the right choice.

Cringe, I half agree on Languish but Transgress the Mind is a negative. The only thing I would replace it with is either 2 more copies of Duress or Despise. Hand disruption is so good, even if it misses it offers information about your opponent's hand, and ontop of that hand disruption is just key against mirror matches.
January 22, 2016 8:28 a.m.
The_Riddlebox fair enough. In that case I think Silkwrap is the right spell to remove.

Seriously with so many rally decks you should run some hallowed in your side

I like this deck so I hope you don't mind that I built it and played it. So my results were first round 2-1: against a green white dragon deck I think? Not sure what it was, that some guy was converting into a EDH deck I only lost one hand due to being flooded. Second round 1-2: Part the Waterveil deck this was an interesting deck I tell you, they sided in counter spells for your counters and some bad shuffling on my part is what cost me, so major error on my part. I only won the first hand due to Dragonlord Dromoka really saved me on that part. Round three 2-0: against an Eldrazi deck once the dragons came out with the counters and removal the game was in my favor. Round four 0-2: lost to a Black white aggro deck that by turn five I couldn't do anything against it once again I think it was do to my poor shuffling then geting cut into a bad spot, so my error. Great deck and you made a change on it after I get a hold of the cards so I didn't have Immolating Glare and neither did I have your sideboard also so sorry if I had the SB with it I think I might have done better but I didn't see any Ally decks tonight so over all I got 6th with a win/loss record of 2-2. If your thinking of finding a replacement for Languish I would go Grasp of Darkness but I would make that a maybeboard idea great spot removal for most creatures in this format. A suggestion from me is maybe think about using Negate over Dispel yes I know it costs one more but it's a great card for everything non creature but that's me. Otherwise great deck +1 from me.
