Basically it was revenge day for the last game day. Last game day i was using a seasons past deck but tonight i brought this.
Game 1: 2 - 0
BANT COMPANY
I was againts the Gameday champion who knocked me out the tournament. Basically for the two games i combo'ed off twice. i didn't even swung at him once and i just drained him for a whole lot.
Game 2: 2-1
SULTAI CONTROL
I was againts the runner up of the last weeks game day tournament. He is also player of the year twice in a row.
First game my combo went off fast as i kept getting my cards out and drained him and i barely get to survive multiple languishes.
Second game, I side boarded wrong as i put more transgress in instead of ultimate prices as I read the deck wrong seeing he would have Kalitas side boarded in and he just got multiple zombies running me down and also his aggro package of Tireless Trackers and Sylvan Advocates.
Third game, i brought Nissa in and OMG did it helped win me the game It just gave me lots and lots of tokens also taking her down to give my creatures counters that he had trouble languishing and grasp of darkness. Basically it was to the point he had 0 hands and only a swinging Hissing Quagmire. Then i casted a Nantuko Husk down and I also had Rogue's Passage down making him unblockable so his hissing quagmire cant kill it. So he was on 4 life and he topped decked a Kalitas, so basically he wanted to swing with it next turn to gain the life. Then i topped decked a Duskwatch Recruiter and my mana was enough to cast it and also make Nantuko unblockable, sacrifice it and i win.
Game 3: 2-1
U/W HUMANS
I was againts last years Game day champion.
Game 1 he went first and he just over ran me with lots of creatures but on my luck he was stuck with 4 mana and he had Dragonlord Ojutai and Avacyn stuck in hand. He had atleast 6 creatures with two always watching. But i was able to get my combo off and drained him down and winning game 1. Even with him declartion in stone most my creatures but i was able to draw into my answers with the clues he gave me. He had no fliers, I just sac all to Westvale Abbey and Ormandhal came in ready to swing and he just scoops.
Game 2 he went first again and this time he wasn't mana screwed and he drew a hell lot of creatures. As i casted creatures one by one i just had to block because the amount of damage he gave me was just ridiculous. He won this game.
Game 3 was so crazy i was surprised that i won. Basically on his board he had so much mini creatures, two always watching, and two Archangel of Tithes. Getting a Cryptolith Rite saved me so much just giving me lots of mana to cast down my creatures. The MVP for this match is DUSKWATCH RECRUITER. Just activating his skill to search through my library for a second zulaport cutthroat and then as i sac all my creatures to Nantuko Husk draining him to death.
3 - 0. Revenge was sweet.
