Following up on great advice from some fellow redditors :
/u/Ihxo suggested playing Thoughtseize and Inquisition of Kozilek over Hymn to Tourach.
A lot of people suggested playing Wasteland so that's added as well.
/u/avatarofgerad suggested swapping my Damnation for Sinkhole mainboard, I like that a lot !He also suggested to swap GFT and doomblade for
Diabolic Edict
which makes sense.
/u/Pleaseletme suggested Dryad Arbor for some "sneaky fetch land action", which is an AWESOME idea :)
Finally I put in Bitterblossom instead of
Geralf's Messenger
which provides a faster clock & consistent creature spawns.
I'm holding off on playing green mainboard, since I get screwed by my own Contamination.Some people suggested I play DRS main to solve that, but it's not a given.
Gemstone Mine
could provide some green, but I don't see any place in the board for that atm.
Already a bit unsure about the current mana-base, to be tested !

I will test this out at my nearest convenience and keep this updated.

ORIGNIAL DECK :
Everytime I go through my binder my playset of Contamination was staring me in the face.
A few weeks ago, I finally composed a deck with them, which turns out to be surprisingly competitive !
Bear in mind I wanted to make a deck specifically around Contamination , I don't want to make just another kind of pox variant.I NEEDED to use Contamination.
So first of, we'll need some sack targets. What better then
Bloodghast
, Gravecrawler and his buddy
Geralf's Messenger
right ?They all can be perfectly sacced (
Bloodghast
even brought back oftenly with haste) and
Geralf's Messenger
pinging for damage.
True-Name Nemesis
? No problem,
Innocent Blood
and Gatekeeper of Malakir will take care of you.Before contamination hit's the board there's time to initiate the desired lockdown with Liliana of the Veil and Hymn to Tourach.
Having a little crowded oponent creature board ? Damnation will take care of that. My own creatures die also , you say ?No problem. I'll bring em back or deal you damage with Geralf.
Cabal Therapy for obvious reasons, especially the flashback cost.
Now the manabase. It's splashy green for Abrupt Decay for destroying just about anything and especially graveyard hate.Deathrite Shaman for turn-2 Liliana's to have a faster clock. Sinkhole because.... because Sinkhole.
The sideboard can use some work. Might argue where the Thoughtseize or Duress are, but up till now Cabal Therapy has servedme perfectly.Very open to suggestions, especially on the sideboard.
