Have you thought about Deathrite Shaman ? Also you should definitely mainboard at least 2 Whip of Erebos It's super helpful.

Yeah Deathrite shaman would be helpful but I'm a bit short on cash and hoping to use this is modern post rotation, where it's banned. If I'm going to main board the whips, what do you suggest I take out? Thanks for the help :)

I would probably take out some creatures. 28 is a little high even though a good portion of them will be going to the graveyard. A Nemesis of Mortals and maybe a Lotleth Troll . If you aren't comfortable taking one of those out I would maybe suggest a Commune with the Gods and maybe a Putrefy . Also I suggest perhaps replacing Herald of Torment with Master of the Feast . It gives your opponent card advantage but at the same time it's a 3 drop 5/5 flyer. Also I would add in another Liliana Vess and a Vraska the Unseen or 2. Also remember that standard is rotating in roughly 3 week or so. So it might be better to start making it rotation friendly.
