A compromise over the insanely fast UG infect and the slower but more solid Mono-Black Infect. Both the fast and the safe ways are potential wins, over consistency it's diversity. Phyrexian Crusader's protection compensates for less hexproof spells. It's not perfect still :( Fetchlands are still a problem for me, sadly.
