Wanted to try Bringer of the Last Gift again. Feeling the vibe to push the ramping angle a lot more, mainly with Blossoming Tortoise.

Other ramping/selfmill cards are Cache Grab and Smuggler's Surprise, which can combo with Insidious Roots surprisingly for more ramp. Also Spelunking works well with Tortoise and Lumra, Bellow of the Woods. I also put in a number of Scrapwork Mutt for more self mill, (Unearth combos again with Roots).

When you hit the Gift reanimation, I'm betting on Rottenmouth Viper as the main payoff to sandwich the opponent. Plenty of space for your favorite one-off threats. I'm going with stuff like Trumpeting Carnosaur, Vein Ripper, Ygra, Eater of All, Archpriest of Shadows, Cankerbloom, and even Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant if I have some stragglers caught in hand that want to join the party.

For getting some haste on the big Gift turn, I'm including a few things like Imodane's Recruiter and Surrak and Goreclaw and Calamity, Galloping Inferno. I could run something like Bitter Reunion instead but I like creature-based haste sources better for this deck.

I have a personal preference for Volatile Fault for land destruction. It's cheaper to activate than say a Demolition Field (one Tortoise makes it free). And it's a Cave for Spelunking. I don't feel like I need another land to fetch a basic when I also run Fabled Passage.

Possibly Cavern of Souls is necessary because Bringer of the Last Gift is so crucial, but for now I'm not running it. But it's easy enough to fit.
