All the meaty goodness of bacon with a little sizzle. It also goes good with just about everything. I affectionately named it bacon because of the deck protectors and box look like bacon... and we all love bacon!

So here's how it works: Get the general (Animar) out as soon as possible and give him some protection (hex or shroud). You lose him early, it's hard to recover. Start pumping the +1s by playing creatures and using some of their bouncing/evolving abilities. There are also a few handy rings and enchantments to ramp it up as well. It is very possible to win by general damage alone (especially if played against a black and/or white deck).

So now you've got a few +1 counters on Animar and can play the big guns with very little mana. You can also move counters over by evolving onto him. I've added the Hellkite Charger+Bear Umbra combo for a little more power... like adding bacon bits to bacon!

There is also a few burn spells to target pesky cards and of course the artifact destroying creatures (or take all to win with Hellkite Tyrant). If they are really annoying, you can take control of them too... ah the lure of bacon... mmm.

There are a few cards to bounce the creatures in and out to do some fun damage and other neat tricks. Of course it is a red/blue deck so the Niv/Curiosity combo had to be in there. Hamletback Goliath gets very fun if you have the Species Gorger out as well as the Voidmage Husher... these cards make things pretty much Game Over... now you have time to make bacon.
