Hey, new deck I made at 2:00AM because I couldn't sleep! I figured this might be a cool idea. Basically, rush your enemies with really fat creatures. NOTE: if you have Shield Sphere, or are willing to invest in getting it, it can replace a few things in this deck such as Wall of Souls or Kheru Bloodsucker. Also, I need to do more testing, but I think -2x Swamp, -1x Forest, -4x Voracious Wurm, +4x Coat With Venom, +3x Diabolic Tutor will help a lot.
Alright, after the first paragraph is written 2 months later, after me buying and playing with the deck. It works surprisingly effectively and beats some of my other decks such as deck:http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/humans-on-steroids/ (4-2) and deck:http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/the-very-wicked-witch-16/ (6-0) on a consistant basis and goes toe to toe with deck:http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/the-mana-bandit-25/ (3-3). It still doesn't perform quite as well as some of my other decks, such as deck:http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/tezzerets-grand-scheme-1/ and deck:http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/captain-theres-a-fork-in-the-road/ (against both lost 4/6 games) but for a fraction of the price, is more worth it in my opinion. For 13$? Damn, that's good! Keep in mind, this deck has no removal and if you want, add a few Naturalize for removal.
There are many combos within this deck, one big, long confusing one being Disowned Ancestors to Scourge of Skola Vale with Sultai Flayer and/or Kheru Bloodsucker on the battlefield, then playing a Kin-Tree Invocation and attaching a Fruit of the First Tree to it and then next turn sacrificing it to Scourge of Skola Vale, and putting a Voracious Wurm onto the battlefield. That's turn 6 and you already have two huge ass creatures, one with trample, and next turn, if you sac your Wurm to your Scourge, you have a creature with trample that's bigger than 30/30 (turn 7) as well as around 50 life. (cause you're gaining 4-12 life per sacrificed creature per turn). Also, you can do that combo much faster in the game at around turn 4-5 having the huge creature, only you won't have gained nearly as much life. Shrouded Lore can be used to retrieve your Kin-Tree Invocations and maybe Wall of Souls, that's why it's in there. So you can keep feeding your Scourge. Basically, this deck revolves around making your creatures big and gaining life as fast as possible, and sacrificing your big creatures to make your other big creatures even bigger, until eventually you have a few really big creatures and tons of life, then you swing for the win. Until then, play heavily defensively. Any questions? Comment below. Any suggestions? Comment below! Thank you for seeing my deck, and upvotes are much appreciated!
Okay, after much more edits and tons of games, I have found this deck to be one of if not the most consistent decks I own, almost always working out in my favour. The only problem I get with this deck is against fast decks that win turn 1-4 because of lack of removal and no defense against spells and stuff, but for casual play, it's great to drop a t3 Scourge of Skola Vale and a t4 Corpsejack Menace, cause after that, shit gets crazy.
