I'm not sure exactly what you'd remove to put these in, but it sounds like Prophet of Kruphix would be a good fit in this deck.

A general tip I learned is consistency. If you're only running one of a card, and it's not legendary, then should it be in the deck? You'll have more consistent draws if you have 3's and 4's of cards compared to 2's and 1's (although there are times you want to run just 2 of things) Also listen to your buddy Kheasus, they seem to know a bit about this game, make sure to ask any questions about interactions and such too. As far as cards go, Mistcutter Hydra or Genesis Hydra in place of Vastwood Hydra . Although be careful if using Mistcutter Hydra because of its protection from Blue.

take out Winged Coatl and Acidic Slime to make it standard...
As with most beginner decks, the 1x ofs are just going to throw the whole thing off. Try to focus on a strategy and only include the most important parts of it in 3x and 4x ofs as best you can.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I am definitely looking at the suggested hydras and discards. It's just a matter of a lack of fund-age for cards.

Okay, now that I see your deck laid out like so...I think we need to tweak it again. You have a ton of creatures and not a ton of spells... which explains why your deck was moving slow the other night.
