Innistrad is my favorite plane so I made a zombie tribal list with my favorite zom-- Wait. Hold on. Let us get this nonsense out of the way.

First of all, tl;dr: This is a new flavor of Grimgrin EDH. The goal is to create a U/B control deck with a repeatable beater (Grimgrin) as a win condition. I need help tuning it.

What in the hell, you may be asking. Why not just zombie tribal. Because I'm a hipster trying really hard not to be basic, you just don't get it. The point of this deck is to focus on Grimgrin, Corpse-Born in a control shell. The playstyle I am going for is be the control dude (draw cards, wipe the board, counter spells, etc.) and then play the " Serra Angel /Morphling/ Psychatog " of the deck (Grimgrin) and just beat everyone to death using an ENGINE to untap and grow him.

Engines? Show

So by an engine I mean a repeatable way to untap Grimgrin so that he can attack each turn. The two best engines in the deck (tier 1) are currently Gravecrawler and Animation Module. Both cards allow me to make a creature and sac it to Grimgrin for one mana (or go infinite with Gravecrawler + Rooftop Storm).

Phyrexian Reclamation (tier 1.5) lets me recur value creatures and get ETB/death triggers repeatedly for value while also working towards the Grimgrin win. The reason I rate it a bit less than the other two are that it takes quite a bit of mana and life. Usually a creature with a good effect will offset this though.

The other engines (tier 2) include Sanitarium Skeleton , Undertaker , Talrand, Sky Summoner, Grim Harvest, and Docent of Perfection  . While these are all effective, they are heavily reliant on outside sources (instants, sorceries, or creatures) or are mana inefficient.

Any and all suggestions are appreciated, but I am hoping more for creature-based engines to help grow Grimgrin. The more efficient and flexible the better.

What I need help with Show

So I've built the deck, piloted it, tuned it a little, and piloted some more. Now I want to release my idea into the world and see what feedback I can get on it to make it more viable. First of all, are there any cards that pop into your head as a great piece of tech for the deck? Example: Meekstone creates an asymmetrical board state that benefits me greatly, or Animation Module is a perfect way to keep Grimgrin going. I really enjoy cards like this.Second, I'm trying to continually lower the curve of the deck so if you see any effects and know a card with a lower mana cost, hit me up.Finally, I just want to make it good. What cards can I add to make this deck stronger and more balanced? What do you think of the manabase? Should I put in more ramp? More boardwipes? Less Creatures? More creatures? More counterspells? etc. you get the gist. This is what I really need help with because I'm not the best at building proportional decks, and I think it will make the deck more competitive overall.

Again, any and all suggestions are appreciated, but I'm not turning it into zombie tribal :p
