Big Red Burn

Standard*

Ezexperience

Sideboard

Basically a Big Red (control with blasts) but with a white splash for some very good card like Boros Charm and Warleader's Helix.

Shock is the best one drop burn for the standard, it will kill every T1. We don't want too many one drops because of the new lands Temple of Triumph.

Magma Jet is a must have, the scry 2 is very VERY useful. 2 damages are not much but still. Works well with Guttersnipe.

Lightning Strike 's quite good. I'd rather have 4 [magma jet] than 4 of these, just because of the scry.

Guttersnipe ...

Boros Reckoner to prevent the opponent from attacking too much. Keeps the board still, and can make extra damages. Works well with [Anger of the gods] : you can kill a */6 creature, or make your opponent damages while wiping the board.

Skull Crack very effective. Prevent from losing against [sphinx's revelation] or some difficult to handle lifelinker. Enables to outspeed the opponent very often.

Boros Charm's here because of the 4 damages for WR, which is pretty awesome. The indestructible might be useful with [Anger of the gods] for example.

Warleader's Helix - a very good burn spell that makes you gain 4 while dealing with Loxodon Smiter for instance.

This deck seems to run pretty well, but it's all about tempo. Any ideas to make it better ? Every suggestion's welcome.

Thanks for reading.Enjoy !

EDIT : I went 3-0-1 on a local StandardBlue/White control seems to be a very bad match-up, but the other decks are always surprised to lose that quick.VS. RDW and other aggros : match-up's pretty good, they can hardly put us in trouble since we kill everything that comes. If you have an Anger of the Gods in your opening hand, it's almost instawin. VS. Midrange/devotion : seems pretty tough because hey often hit a turn 3 polukranos and that's very bad for us. Celestial Flare is a must have. It's so much tempo for us. I'd say it's mostly a 50/50 match-up, depending on who's on the play, and how good things starts. VS. Monogreen, Anger of the gods is too keep : I won a game because he played 2 BTE and 1 Boon Satyr on turn three, and I followed with the anger of the Gods. He had nothing left in hand, and I still had my burn spells and a Guttersnipe.VS. Esper : Technically, we have an advantage because we have nothing on the board, most of their cards become useless. But as soon as they can play Desecration Demon, or worse Obzedat or the Blood Baron it becomes very difficult for us.

Went 2-0-3 on the Game DayThings didn't came as expected. I lost to a RDW (which never happens) because of land draws, and I lost to a Monogreen Devotion because of Manadeath (first game, mulligan to five because no land in the two firsts hands then I stucked with a single mountain for three turns ; second game I keep my first hand with a signle mutavault, I could not afford to mulligan on the play and for the win, And I never drew another land so that was it). I also lost against a weird Midrange Bant. First game went well : I finished him befre he could finish me, with a Warleader's Helix and Boros Charm. Then he drew twice his sideboard : Unflinching Courage.I won against a weird U/G which was very slow and nothing threatening to us. And against a WW with the help of Anger of the Gods to get rid off that Fiendslayer Paladin.
