Just a starting point for a generalist lifegain deck that can dip into a bunch of possible wincons (Felidar Sovereign, Test of Endurance, Aetherflux Reservoir, Bilbo, Birthday Celebrant's activated skill and Ajani, Strength of the Pride's 0 cost ability can all instantly end a game). Also has a healthy amount of direct damage triggers, mana ramp, board control, card draw, and a fair amount of ways to make massive creatures to swing for a kill. Tainted Sigil is also a sneaky wincon with things like Vizkopa Guildmage (i.e. activate Guildmage's second ability, and cast Exsanguinate for X=3; Each opponent takes 3 damage and you gain (at minimum) 9 life, dealing 9 more damage to each opponent. Then activate the Sigil to gain 36 life, dealing 36 more direct damage to each opponent through Vizkopa Guildmage for 48 total damage to each opponent).

Note: when I first listed this deck it was mostly based around souls-sisters ETB lifegain effects, but since then many cards have been released that are hugely beneficial to food-based lifegain decks and this current list represents a halfway compromise between the two. That makes it somewhat unique, but it also makes it somewhat less reliable than a pure food decks so this ends up existing in a spot that's quite strong, but not outrageously so, and I think it's well tuned for my playgroup where this deck is not meant to be competitive EDH tier, but more like a deck I use for a friendly game but when I really want to win.

Originally I ran this deck with Bilbo, Birthday Celebrant as commander, but I've since swapped for Frodo, Adventurous Hobbit + Sam, Loyal Attendant since they generate both life gain and card draw themselves and also combo nicely with the new and amazing Delney, Streetwise Lookout. Bilbo as a commander can only accelerate some other cards' effects so it's harder to recommend, but if you can get to 111 life, it's extremely gratifying to pop off with Bilbo's activated ability, so I swap him in on occasion and the deck still functions just fine.

Also, the lands included here are a bit of a mess, but it's a reflection of what I currently own. It's been working out okay for me but the mana base would be a great place to make improvements for anyone drawing inspiration here.
