Master Biomancer is what the deck is built around, and it has evolved quite a bit since it's inception.

The second main idea behind the deck, is Deadeye Navigator, which can be a very useful tool in building the power to the creatures from the biomancers.

I used to use Progenitor Mimic in here, but it just doesn't seem to fit any more, and I have the Deadeye Navigator as my large drop.

Loxodon Smiter does not seem to fit either, either replaceable by Advent of the Wurm or maybe Acidic Slime

My sideboard needs more balls too. This deck suffers hard against aggro decks and enchantment based decks. Against mid-range it destroys!
