First off, Bioshock is awesome. Second, this deck seems like a colossal amount of fun. It's good to see decks that challenge the typical win conditions and work outside of the box more. +1.

If you're wondering why I'm running two instead of one it's so I can put the breaks on one if I decide to. If I have both in hand, then I just play my whole deck, but it's more of a fail safe than anything because if I Surge straight into a Fog I'm screwed, so it's nice to have some deck left if I need to.

So you have no idea how it works. You exile top card of your library. Then if it's a permanent card you MAY put it onto the battlefield. IF you do, repeat this process. You may stop that process at any point.

Hot damn, where has that may clause been all my life? I swear I've read the card a billion times and that's never been there. Oh well, I've played it without the may clause and that's how I'll continue to play it.

For control matchups, have you considered siding 4x Savage Summoning and 2x AEtherling ? With your ramping you could have aetherling by turn 4, but on turn 5 you could have enough mana to cast aetherling, with savage summoning, with the 1 open mana to blink it against removal.

I think just 4xThrun, the Last Troll is more simple and better against control match-ups.

Simpler? yes, very. but Thrun, the Last Troll , isn't a one-man game closer like AEtherling .
September 6, 2013 6:58 p.m.
In some legacy control decks Rainbow Efreet il "a one-man game closer". Thrun, the Last Troll has even bigger power than Rainbow Efreet . therling can finish game faster, but it needs more mana to cast. Two cards for one creature? That unblockable is advantage indeed, but it needs mana investments and against control match-ups unblockable is not that relevant. Finishing game faster than Thrun also needs mana investments. It can dodge removals, but it needs mana too. If therling's third ability is activated even twice, Sudden Death will 2 for 1 you. If you hurry with that finishing, you must use more mana and make therling even more fragile. Then even Sudden Shock can kill it. If your opponent Wipe-Out it you gonna have bad time waiting that you draw another Savage Summoning . Your opponent can also Take Possession . 4x Savage Summoning + 2x AEtherling takes 6 places from sideboard while 4x Thrun, the Last Troll takes only four(actually 2 Thruns should be enough). Is it even faster game finisher? I mean you must wait till you get two specific cards rather than one.

Since you're swapping this to modern I definitely have some suggestions for you. Mirrorweave is a much faster card than Infinite Reflection , and has a much higher chance of of being tutored thanks to Merchant Scroll and replayed thanks to Snapcaster Mage .
The best mana ramp card I found so far would have to be Noble Hierarch as he ramps in all the colours necessary, AND buffs.
Definitely run either Cryptoplasm or Phantasmal Image , it makes winning with Biovisionary faster and destroys your opponent with Master Biomancer . Phantasmal Image entering the battlefield as a Master Biomancer with three more +1/+1 counters on it? Everything then gets nine +1/+1 counters on them!
Fauna Shaman is easily your best creature tutor, and is an elf to boot, so it can be used in so many different situations.
You should really check out my own modern Biovisionary deck Biovisionary's Scholorship, it doesn't run on Master Biomancer , but rather on draw between Lorescale Coatl and Infiltration Lens , something that I'm debating on keeping as a draw function was always fun in this deck especially when I used to run Teferi's Puzzle Box and Psychosis Crawler . It also has the best blue tutor in modern, Gifts Ungiven ~!

Mirrorweave
, Gifts Ungiven
and Merchant Scroll
are not permanentts. They stop Primal Surge
. Primal Surge
is a win condition of this deck. It isn't easy to find good tutors for this kind of deck. I got an idea to splash black for Diabolic Revelation
or Increasing Ambition
. These tutors can tutor copies of itself and Primal Surge
. When they have tutored those nonpermanents out of deck, Primal Surge shall win the game.
Noble Hierarch
is very good ramp card in some decks. This deck ramps with Elvish Archdruid
, so Arbor Elf
is better. I think Joraga Treespeaker
would be good in elf ramp base. Which one is better way to ramp elves or defenders? I'll mention some of notable defenders: Axebane Guardian
, Overgrown Battlement
, Vine Trellis
, Axebane Guardian
, Steel Wall
, Wall of Vines
, Wall of Frost
and Fog Bank
.

Sad that most of these cards got cycled yesterday : /.
This was my favorite deck pre rotation hands down. Really sad to see it go. It did, however, spur my love of Simic as my main played deck, and as such I want to see Simic continue strong now that Theros is out. I have made a new Simic deck that I would love some comments on. It looks constructed worthy to me, but again, comments would be awesome. Here's the link: Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger, Simic.. Sixty3Zero, hope you don't mind the plug on your wall. If you do, feel free to delete it. But I'm hoping that you, and anyone else, will take some time and check this out. Would appreciate it. Thanks.

S'all good. I'm still going Simic post-Theros, and am in need of critique on it as well. If you like this deck, head on over to Surf's Up! [suggestions?] and take a look. It's been fun.

Cool deck!! Definitely will try this one!
Don't you think there's too many green mana?
We already have Elvish Mystic for green mana, Arbor Elf to untap forests and Elvish Archdruid to boost green mana. I have an elfball deck and all it takes to start the combo is 2 Forest and I'm all set, using the Elvish Mystic and the Elvish Archdruid .
Even though the blue mana cost isn't that high in this deck, I guess it would be interesting to have few more Islands to use with Zameck Guildmage +1/+1 abilities. Even with Elvish Visionary to draw cards you don't have the Wirewood Symbiote to keep it returning to your hand and playing it over and over again, so you can have a safe and constant way to keep drawing cards with Zameck Guildmage and don't run out of blue mana =)
Just some thoughts!
Cheers

It would be awesome if you would check out my elf deck Mono Green Elf Deck and see if you could give me any suggestions.

Copies of master biomancer get enormous exponentially with infinite reflection....

Spark Double is a super versatile clone that may be worth considering.

I playtested a couple times and wow! Turn 4 i managed to turn 5-6 elves all into Master Biomancer , which was a 5/6 at the time. When I went to go play a Elvish Visionary I had to stop because I realized the math was getting ridiculous. I love the combo playstyle this has, and the name is pretty funny and fitting. +1. Going to have to read all the comments before making any construction comments.
