Thanks for enlightening me on this subject. I am new to the world of competitive magic so I would appreciate help on a new deck of mine from a talented deckbuilder. here is the link Selesnya Mana Ramp

I'm surprised that you're not playing a playset of Birthing Pod

My win con isn't an infinite combo with creatures nestalim, but rather forcing the opponent into a situation in which I come out as the victor no matter their choice. That is the Gifts Ungiven style of play.

I'm not talking about infinite combo, I'm talking about a way to tutoring your biovionary

Fauna Shaman is more consistent nestalim. If you notice, my 2 cmc creatures are not ones I want to be casting right away, but ones that I normally want to leave in my hand, so using Birthing Pod isn't that good of a choice.

Really weird wincon but cool nonetheless. Maybe Elvish Harbinger

I understand that Privileged Position is good but except for the creatures, the only permanents you have is lands so why not run Asceticism ? In some situations the regneration abilty can be the difference between loss or win. And how do you survive an early Slaughter Games ? You rarely see that card in modern but is there any defense against it?

What about Prophet of Kruphix , it may only be a win more in this deck as I think if you are getting to 5 and 6 mana you are likely to win anyways. But it could be a good card to get yourself back into the game after a wrath.

Thanks for the +1 Arthdirith~!
I liked the double Privileged Position on the field, making them both invulnerable. But you're right, Asceticism is a better card in this case, and it would lower down this deck's cost.
You are correct NeoHazard, Prophet of Kruphix is a win-more card. Once it is out I really don't need it. Also I don't want any more 4-6 cmc cards, as what I have now is enough and I'm able to cast them when I want. Having any more kind of lowers that consistency.

Also forgot to link your name for the 2nd paragraph masta_biomanca x)
And for the Slaughter Game thing, I don't really have an answer for that. My win condition would be then to Mirrorweave some massive creature and swing for my dear life. Lorescale Coatl is pretty good for that, as the tokens would stay on even after they returned to normal.

Lol your monster became fat and it must be a really fun deck but a bit pricely

@ Kallandroz:
My monster became fat? I presume that you are talking about Lorescale Coatl ?
The pricy-ness came from Modern Masters making modern popular, and from the Deathrite Shaman banning. Both resulted in Noble Hierarch getting a $30 increase per card, and for Snapcaster Mage getting a $10 increase per card. A net increase of around $90.

I'd think about building something like this towards the end of this standard season. I like your mirrorweave combo with biovisionary. It reminds me a lot of Aura Thief +Enchanted Evening
It looks like a lot of fun but Im scared of where nobles price will go by the time I get around to making something like this.

Note that this deck is very fragile to any removal or counterspells. Hence why it isn't on my profile. It requires far too many resources to win via Biovisionary and leaves no room for protection of my own kind. At least that is what I found, you may be able to build a more control perspective with this.

I'm not all that sure about how fast modern is, nor do I know how this deck usually plays out, but from a first glance over it I see that Call to the Kindred has 12 good targets (all humans). not an awesome tutor, but makes crappy creatures into tempting targets instead of your valuable ones - say, after casting an eternal wittness, turn it into a tutor instead of a blank 2/1. same goes for snapcaster or noble hierarch to a degree.

12 creature targets isn't enough. And at 4 mana, it is quite pricy.

I would consider at least two Flooded Strand over Flooded Grove because it makes getting your breeding pools easier and less likely to get the groves without lands to activate them.

also did you consider Leyline of Sanctity over Witchbane Orb at all? possibly castable off of birds and hierarchs, and you could consider a one-of Temple Garden or Hallowed Fountain to fetch up.

I really like this build. My deck, Artist-Vision Serum is a little more aggressive on the Cloning front but I put my focus on a scapeshift strategy with Coiling Oracle and Dreamscape Artist.
Either way, the world needs more Biovisionary!

You will rarely Gifts Ungiven into Mirrorweave onto the same turn selesvyaloverer8, most modern games end before you get 8 mana lest you are playing control.
I use Mirrorweave because it is faster when hard casting it. It allows a turn 4 win in this deck, and if I cast Gifts Ungiven I have a better chance of casting Mirrorweave next turn then if I use Infinite Reflection .
Mirrorweave is nice because if they play like a ... Wurmcoil Engine and I have more creatures, well now I have a tonne of Wurmcoil Engine s ready to attack~! Sure Infinite Reflection can do that to, but Mirrorweave allows me to retain all of my original creatures after the attack so I can resume my original strategy.
