This is my (mostly) mono-black control deck. It focuses on massive card advantage and lifelink to make up for the loss of life. Every single one of my creatures has evasion to help make that damage hurt.

The main focus is to constantly clear the board via Ultimate Price, Murder, and Mutilate for when things really get out of hand. Liliana is there to ensure land drops for solid Mutilates, as well as to clear a creature or two if she must, but hopefully to set off her ultimate for a ridiculous Rakdos's Return if it goes to late game, which this deck tends to force.

Griselbrand is in as a finisher, and his abilites really sync up well with my overall strategy of lifelink and card draw.

I've taken this to two FNM's so far and finished each time 3-1 and 3-1. It has only lost due to mana screw or an inexplicable inability to draw any creatures. Any comments, constructive criticisms, or advice on what you feel would help boost this deck's overall performance would be wonderfully appreciated.
