This deck is almost completely based on the deck in this article on the Wizards website and the red/white heroic deck presented there. I used that deck as a basis and altered it to change it from red/white to red/black deck.

Any suggestions on how to improve this deck would be helpful!

The main strategy is to trigger the different Heroic abilities as fast and soon as possible. Using Arena Athlete & Madcap Skills to make it difficult to block and use Ashiok's Adept & Agent of the Fates to slow down the opponent with casting extra creatures that might block or form a threat.

Both Undying Evil and Cauldron Haze are used to prevent my own creatures from dying when it does happen or at least trigger one more Heroic effect.
