Loyalty If LE hasn't been a thing for you, don't worry about it. But I tend to run Tormod's Crypt and Leyline of the Void. Cage really is good for decks with Snapcaster Mage and decks like Grishoalbrand.

Also Kiki Chord is affected by Cage.

What a surprisingly complex card.

Don't you want people to play the card Living End when the deck is centered around Gray Merchant of Asphodel ETB effect? If you have Liliana of the Veil out and you are dumping Garys and Obliterators anyway...

Living End goes off turn 3, by which time they have 5-6 creatures in grave. Also, Lili helps them by allowing them to dump a creature they weren't able to cycle. They don't care about Gary, and Obliterator refills their grave for a theoretical second LE.

Living End is a bitch. You have to depend on discard and grave hate. Leyline of the Void or Nihil Spellbomb or Relic of Progenitus are your best bets. Bojuka Bog also works as does the above mentioned Tormod's Crypt.

Pithing Needle can stop Fulminator Mage which they love to use. Fulminator Mage into Kolaghan's Command into Fulminator Mage is vicious.

TheFoilAjani I just looked up how Living End decks work and I see that cascade is a thing... Silly me to think that someone was actually paying the full cost and waiting 3 turns... Still, if you have a deck where you are able to put creatures in the yard and get some ETB like Gary, then you can benefit from the card being cast as well. Just not as much as your opponent who built around that exact thing.
