I like it and I'm thinking about ordering some of the cards I don't have, my only question is why run 4 copies of Oblivion Ring in the mainboard in a format like pauper? You have Journey to Nowhere in the sideboard but I feel that at 1 less mana it could be in the mainboard instead of O-ring even though it technically hits less targets, in this format most decks are based around creatures anyway.

Zargast I chose running Oblivion Ring because it let's me exile any non-land permanent. I'm not running Journey to Nowhere on mainboard because is not an aura and I can't find it with Heliod's Pilgrim.

Nevertheless, I'm not really sure if I should run the Oblivion Ring in mainboard. I would prefer running all aura enchantments but I can't decide. Maybe I should add some instants, if you have any idea... The only condition is that they shouldn't be removals, because I want my auras to stay on the battlefield for the Ethereal Armor.

Have you played this in a pauper daily yet? I was wondering how you fared vs. Delver

njf, no I haven't. I just play Pauper with some friends, not on MTGO. If I get to play it against a Delver I'll post the results.

Not sure if it is relevant on MTGO, but in paper Dust to Dust hoses affinity. Great as a 2 of in your sideboard.

njf, thanks for your suggestion! I'll test it against Affinity decks but, until now, I haven't had any issue with them. I even didn't need to use the sideboard.

The only problem I see is that I don't want to destroy artifact creatures with it (because I want to enchant them). But for destroying their lands it can be really useful.

Yeah I was referring to their lands, getting two for one is great value but if you're not having a problem with that deck don't worry about it.

Now onto my next suggestion, I love this deck can't you tell :p, instead of Journey to Nowhere which you can't tutor up maybe try running Temporal Isolation. It still makes them able to block, but its still technically removal.

njf, after trying the deck against several kind of decks, blocking can be an issue if the opponent runs big creatures (Ulamog's Crusher, Gurmag Angler).

I'm already running the Armament of Nyx, that lets to the enchanted creature block, and it's not funny when that happens. So I thought of only running 2 copies of it, as it also has a good effect on my creatures.

I hope this also helps you in your version of the deck and how to choose the auras you run :3

Thats why you better run Journey to Nowhere. Cheaper and better for first round. After siding you can switch to Oblivion Ring if its necessary.

I run monoW either, but different (Soldiers) theme and it really runs wild. We have steady dose of tournaments in Pauper Legacy in our town, so I have some results :) Holy Light and Dust to Dust are not important in our meta, so theyre not added.

Thanks for your suggestion Enthor! Also it's nice to know the experience of others that run similar decks in tournaments.

I've added Oblivion Ring in mainboard because I'm already running spells for dealing with creatures (Oppresive Rays, Pacifism...). So Oblivion Ring helps to pump the Ethereal Armor and lets me deal with other kind of permanents.

I like it, so +1. This deck looks slick.

As for the name of the deck, lol, you could try "Ethereal Oppression," or "An Enchanting Evening in Nyx." ...I don't have any actual advice for you.... (lol)

Gattison, thanks for the +1! I'm glad that you like the deck.

Those are good suggestions for the name! I'll have to decide what new name it deserves :P

Nice deck! I was trying to build a pauper white control deck with enchantments and yours suits up very well the strategy. I'm going to run a similar deck in a tournament, but I made some modification to fix the mana curve and give extra control over opponent's creatures: I put some Azorius Arresters in main deck (it doesn't work straightly with enchantments, but can stop some of opponent's creatures), moved Auramancer to side deck, moved Oppressive Rays to main deck, took off Faith's Fetters and got an extra Armament of Nyx in main deck. I'll let you know in case it works!

guilmat, I'm glad you liked the deck! Azorius arrester is a wonderful white creature, I have it in my soldier pauper deck.

Let me know how it goes! I'm really interested, also take notes of the decks you play against. Thank you so much :)

saturnosrings, I finally played with this deck in a tournament, against a MBC, an Abzan Midrange, a MonoR Burn/land destruction and an U/B Tron.

In general, I felt that this deck lacks about speed, because of average mana cost of creatures (always around 3, what made difficult to play cards like Observant Alseid and Harvestguard Alseids) and because it's hard to build enough powerful creatures in early game (maybe it's related to the kind of decks I played against, which had a lot of Chainer's Edict, Bolts and, in specific cases, creatures that could return others to hand, "saving" them from Pacifisms and Oppressive Rays or making my creatures lose Aura cards). Another point I figured out is that this deck has a lot of control only over creatures (the deck gone not too bad against MBC and Abzan Midrange, as more creatures entered the battlefield), consequently going bad against decks with less creatures/ more spells, specially in early game, even with some protections for my creatures. The best combination I could do was a Hopeful Eidolon on turn 1 and Nyxborn Shieldmate and Ethereal Armor on turn 2, beating 4 damage on turn 2, leading me to end the game with 35 life points and win (but I got lucky because my opponent got mana screwed, lol).Anyway, it was fun to play with this deck, even having some weaknesses! Some of my opponents liked the way it works. I will try making some modifications deck to make better results! Cheers!

Hey guilmat! Thank you so much for this review!

I know this deck isn't flawless, and has its weaknesses as you said. I'm surprised you actually played with it, it's awesome :D

I know it's not very fast creating huge creatures, you have to be lucky for doing that. And it can be useless against creatureless decks. I'll look forward to your updates! Cheers! :)
