Blightcaster Pauper EDH

Or: How I Stopped Worrying and Learned to Love Card Advantage

Fielding Blightcaster as a general tempts deckbuilders into running every Black Enchantment in the format, which ends up with an empty hand by turn 7. This deck balances Good Black Spells tm with the Blightcaster's package of effective enchantments. Removal is to be expected, so running this commander requires the deck to still be good when old Blighty is on timeout.

This list features multiple big creatures, and attempts to rely more on Voltron than simply blighting every spell to death. Save enchantments for when Blightcaster is in play if you can, and save them to play multiples in a turn. The deck includes lots of card draw and mana ramp for explosive plays that hopefully make it impossible for your opponent to return from. This deck struggles against lists with big creatures as their general, as well as builds that spam lots of small ones.
