"I always welcome feedback, criticism, even disagreements, but I do not welcome open attacks on myself or others - that's all". Seems somewhat hypocritical now, after you previous comment. If you would take a moment to re-read all my comments, I never "tore the deck down", and the fact that you view me suggesting that this is another solid deck, as "tearing down" is evidence of your own arrogance. The truth is, if I had the money for it I could build an orzhov deck that would put up a solid fight at the minimum against this. And thank you for the "I understand that you wish you had made a deck that people loved, that pro players had a hand in creating, that hit the top of the charts here on Tappedout, and that is breaking new ground in this current Standard... but, you didn't" Because it proves the fact that you are reveling in the attention that you spent days advertising for. Well, I'm glad you're enjoying it - let me know when you hit your next pro-tour.

lol ever heard of Devour Flesh There goes your hexproof play, what do you have left, an erebos? A voice? lmfao give me a break. Revolutionary my ass

Oh, look, I can also pull figures out of my butt. My deck has 80/20 win rate first game, and 90/10 win rate post-sideboard! In real life!

While we're at it, other people have piloted my deck IN REAL LIFE and had perfect win records.

Esper of the Gods (4-0 at FNM) is the new craze that's sweeping Standard and winning hearts and minds! Top decks already run variations of my deck! I'm a prodigal genius! I'm Kanye f-ing West! A Voice of Resurgence of a generation!

Bow down and kiss my foot! Kiss it!

Supanova200 - There's a PTQ here in a few weeks, I'll be piloting this deck, and I hope to win! So, yes, I'd be happy to let you - and everyone who's helped make this deck what it is - when I hit my next Pro Tour. =) And if it's not at that PTQ, then hopefully the next one! Or the next one! Etc.

Nigrescence - Don't worry; I'm sure you'll brew up something that people pay attention to. =) I'm a bit.. concerned... about your preoccupation with feet and butts, though:

"Your head is so far up your rear"

"Pull your head out of your rump."

"I can also pull figures out of my butt."

"Bow down and kiss my foot! Kiss it!"

...unless, of course, you're flirting with me, in which case, message me privately and we can talk. <3

I like the idea. It's a frustrating deck to play against. Last FNM for me I played similar deck and lost 1-2 in the final round with my r/w heroic deck. I would suggest that Lotleth Troll would be a great addition to help with the struggles against esper and a way to pump and trample over defenders.

Side note, the pissing match going on has entertained me for days. +1 for the deck, +6 or the bickering

Hey guys. Apparently Nigrescence is the sole founder of this new deck called Esper Control that he posted on tappedout a week ago. Interesting. I've never seen this "Esper Control" deck you speak of. It's so original.

Can I just say something in the hope that it will help end the bickering... Caedere is not the first person to come up with the idea, for example I've been working for months on my The Meta IS Anti-Meta! deck, before this popped up and on there people say they played against similar decks already too. Caedere simply made it popular through the enthusiastic words and the marketing (for lack of a better word).

When I made my deck, I was hoping it would be revolutionary, like how this deck claims to be. Reason being that the decks running around in the top tier have very specific workings. Devotion < Color hate cards, Control < Hand Disruption for example. All the deck is doing is to try exploit these deck flavours and turn it against them.

Twice now I posted decks overlooked by people and then being popular a month or so later >.> This, and the junk whip reanimator deck (yet to see anyone posting it at an earlier date)

Eitherway, I hope this type of deck exists every standard seasons, because playing mine, I enjoy having my opponent say "I have special sideboards for you after last week" :)

It's a game guys, not like discovering the wheel... Enjoy it and have fun :)

Caedere, Nice build. I would love to test this out at an FNM soon, I believe I have the pieces to build it, so I think I will this Friday. It looks quite powerful!

I've been playing around with my junk hexproof deck for a little while now and have become a little bored of it haha. Uh Guys, I Just Made Junk Auras Pretty Cool has been making me some wins at the local shop I go to. The meta there is a little on the not so competitive side though, So I haven't had a lot of real competition there aside from like one other person unfortunately.

AS FOR THE ASS HOLES, fuck em. Keep pushing this deck to where you want it to be. who gives a shit if someone else has a different opinion than you? I don't care where you go, what you know, where you've played, whatever, they're just as human as us, and everyone makes mistakes ;P

Just kidding though, but in all seriousness, they can deal with it if they disagree with something, you don't have to. Best of luck on the build!

mathimus55 - Always happy to entertain. Lotleth Troll's been discussed, but I'm not quite sure he's needed in the deck at the moment. =)

GreyFawkes - Thank you for the support, and for the enthusiasm! I hope it goes well for you. :D More importantly, however, I hope you're able to find some competition that really challenges you - that's always super important.

Nigrescence - You realize that each time you post draws more and more attention, and makes the deck even more popular? I love you for that!

And, if you keep dirty-talking at me like that, we'll definitely have to hook up sometime. I like 'em naughty. <3

Alright so I ran this deck again this friday, my friend was unable to pilot it, and here are the results:
Game 1 - Naya Midrange 1/2
This is basically mirror match, and there is little the sideboard could help for me. since he was a little more midrange, I was unable to beat him in the damage race. That is the same for each of the games he beat me.
Game 2 - Simic Evolve 1/2
got much better draws this time (unlike last friday), but wasn't able to hold back his creatures, especially the 10/10 Kalonian Hydra that I didn't draw a selesnya charm for. having pro blue creatures really helped, but he was able to play more threats faster.
Game 3 - Mono-Red Devotion 0/2
Both games I was having mana troubles, and that was basically all. As soon as Temple of Plenty is around I can hopefully fix that.

After these results I think I want a little more midrange, and am definitely putting in Merciless Eviction . I think I will try adding 2 Merciless Eviction in my mainboard, and 1 more in my sideboard, plus 2 Karametra, God of Harvests and I will add 2 Advent of the Wurm along with 4 Sylvan Caryatid and 2 Blood Baron of Vizkopa and finally 2 Elspeth, Sun's Champion . This gives me a board wipe if I need and will make it so I am able to outpace a midrange deck, while still keeping the early game. I am also thinking of adding 2 Thoughtseize but I will see about those. I will post a deck on tapped out on tuesday with what my updated version of this deck will look like, and post the link here. Also, Caedere if you see any giant problems with the changes feel free to give me some constructive criticism.

There's a local GPT coming up this weekend, and I'm going to be running this. =) This time, I'll actually take extensive notes and do my absolute best to get some sort of tournament report together.
