this is hilarious. i'd love to see 4x Fiend Hunter as he is a really strong card.

Yea, there's lots of the cards I'd like to up to 4, but I'm not sure what I'd take out. I hope you meant hilarious as in "amazingly good", but hey, thanks for looking regardless!
June 7, 2012 7:18 a.m.
hilarious as in "it is funny, and it will win games because people don't know what it's doing or how to side against it". if you're playing against a friend who has seen the interactions and knows what you're doing, you'll probably have a worse time of it, but it's a solid deck especially when you've got the element of surprise.
June 7, 2012 6:05 p.m.
...What? Everyone knows what this deck does. There is no element of surprise. Everyone will expect this. Anyone would be more surprised by someone NOT running this.
June 7, 2012 8:38 p.m.
haha siy you seen a list lately? find me all them guys who won minneapolis playing wr blink. find me them. then i will listen to you.
no seriously, if you're not playing either solar flare, ramp, or mageblade you're a rogue deck right now, and i think dekey deserves some encouragement instead of falsely being told that 'everyone is playing this deck'.
please learn a bit more about standard/block (can't tell which the deck is as it's all block but o ring) before trying to ridicule an original deck
June 7, 2012 9:47 p.m.
It's standard, but only because the place I play doesn't play block. It could easily be converted to block though.
Siyanor, are lots of people playing this where you play? Does it work well for them? I honestly didn't even look at deck lists or anything when I made this. It was about 10 hours of me adding and subtracting cards til I got what you see up top.

Very annoying when people claim decks aren't original. I drafted at the pre-release and got a lot of good red/white cards and thats what turned me towards a r/w human bounce deck too. it was 100% original at the time and it still is. As is this deck. Rogue decks rape, i went 6-0 (2-0, 2-0, 2-0, 2-1, 2-0, 2-0) to win Game-day a couple weekends ago with my red/white human bounce and nobody really knew how to handle it. My deck has variations from your's, but all around red/white humans is under-rated and deserves more credit

tco, this deck was being made and evaluated in block and standard BEFORE AVR WAS RELEASED.
June 9, 2012 1:16 a.m.
before it was spoiled, or before it was released? because every deck is. you think wolf run wasn't being evaluated with retired cards once the spoiler hit? delver? solar flare? you're saying that because some people considered it a possibility before it hit shelves, it must be what everyone is playing.
block in barcelona was filled with silver heart decks and miracle control. standard has been dominated by delver and esper control. nowhere in the top tiers of block or standard is there a deck anything like this.
my guess is that your experience of 'everyone is running this deck' is from a local fnm. if you want to criticize a deck, go for it, but have some legitimate reasoning and maybe some proof backing you up before hating on other people's well-designed, innovative decks. and in the meantime go out there and get some actual experience with the meta, because you need it.

I don't mean to take sides here, but I don't think Siyanor deserves all the hate he's getting. He never said the deck was common (though it is at my personal fnm, but that's irrelevant), he said it didn't have the element of surprise, and I would have to agree. It's been a common idea since AVR was released (though this is an exceptional build), and once people see his colors, they know what's coming. I certainly would. Again, don't take this to mean that this deck is not good or original, it's both of those things, but it just doesn't have anything you wouldn't expect to see in RW Humans.

I don't think we have the same definition of "original." Myself, I speak English.
June 16, 2012 1:45 p.m.
I made a deck similar to this one, but it uses life gain to flip the Chalice of Life. The name of the deck is Summer of Discontent. Please take a look and comment!
July 6, 2012 7:35 a.m.
Siyanor, if you don't like the deck, stay out of the debate - you're obviously talking to the wrong crowd, and how is your comments constructive? I may not be a native english speaker like yourself, but I fail to see your constructive criticism. If you're not familiar with the definition of constructive criticism let me give you an example: Maybe you should take the tappedout comment tutorial again.
But I don't know, maybe I'm not trained enough in your language to convey my message?

Solkongen --
My comments would be constructive if people paid attention to them. Instead people have chosen to pretend my comments say something they don't say.
Also, your English is perfectly fine. It's much better than tco's or jfletch's English.

Cver, The Restoration Angel s are in there as fliers as much as they are for blinks. I know this isn't a totally aggro deck, but if it was, it would probably be like all the others. I tried to add my own unique spin on it, and tried limiting myself (for the most part) to Innistrad Block cards. I do like the looks of your decks though! Thanks for taking the time to check mine out.
