Thanks a lot for great feedback ChiefBell, greatly appreciated. Do you suggest cutting all cards you mentioned for land? Also, I've been considering Yisan, the Wanderer Bard to tutor Llanowar Elves and bigger threats later on, do you think the card is worth an inclusion?

Cut land for land. 36 is fine.

Cut the mentioned cards for more removal and mana dorks like the Llanowar Elves .

Tutors like Yisan are always good in EDH.

Removed bouncelands, cycle-lands and most other lands that comes into play tapped.
Added shocklands, checklands and painlands.

Removed Cloud of Faeries, Djinn, Plasm Capture, Reparations
Added Arbor Elf, Sakura Tribe-Elder, Sol Ring, Prime Speaker Zegana

@ChiefBell I have about $40-50 to upgrade the deck. Any more advice on what to replace and add?

I actually have one in my trade binder. Any suggestions on what to replace it with? I'm also thinking about removing Clone for Rite of Replication .

I threw a Minion Reflector into my Roon deck recently to double my ETB effects. It strikes me you could use it with the Deadeye Navigator and Peregrine Drake to generate infinite drake tokens.

ChiefBell If you have the time, could you take a look at my list once more? I've done a big overhaul again, and so far the deck works really good. Cards I own that might be good is in my sideboard.

Sylvan Library ? Sensei's Divining Top ?

I would swap Yisan for something like Worldly Tutor or Sylvan Tutor

Worldly Tutor is already in there. Library and Top are both a bit too expensive for my liking for casual play (more expensive than some decks in my playgroup). Thanks for having a look at my deck once more :)

Went 0-3 yesterday against a Wort, Boggart Auntie-deck. Really fun games against a really fun deck (Wort+Goblins brings a suprising amount of utility), but I didn't stand a chance. It feels like my deck is really lacking some finishers.

DERPLINGSUPREME I actually played Illusionist's Bracers before, but I found that it mostly had synergy with Roon and not much else. I'd rather play an utility creature in it's place instead.

F3AR If you lack card draw, Prime Speaker Zegana from your maybeboard should definately find a home in your deck. If you need more blink-engines, Brago, King Eternal has been really good for me.

Restoration Angel is a one-shot blink-effect, as is Flickerwisp. I'd rather play cards that give multiple blink-opportunities, like Brago, King Eternal, Mistmeadow Witch and Venser, the Sojourner. The flash might be good, though.

Also, I have several angels that I might want to blink. Nephalia Smuggler might be better (and $7 cheaper) if I need the instant blink, but I've seen others prefer Mistmeadow Witch instead since it can blink multiple targets in the same turn.

Vendilion Clique

I know it's expensive (just got one for my blinky deck), but it would be pretty good hand disruption

Shamanic Revelation over Zegana for card draw

January 31, 2015 8:06 p.m.

Indigoindigo says... #23

Severein: Good card, too expensive for my budget.

Shamanic Revelation:
Pros: Good with tokens out + Recurrable with Archaeomancer and Eternal Witness + Easy casting cost + Possible life gain.
Cons: Bad if I only have 1-2 other creatures out.

Prime Speaker Zegana:
Pros: Recurrable with Eternal Witness, Reveillark and Karmic Guide + Provides devotion + Is a blink-target, so it can be used several times.
Cons: Bad with only low power on board + Tricky casting cost.

I think the blink-argument is the most important here. With Roon or Deadeye Navigator out it can provide 10-12 cards in one turn and it can be used again and again until either card is removed.

All good suggestions Lagaffe212. Any of them you think is better than cards I have in my list? I'm playing Lavinia of the Tenth already, it's quite good for locking down boards.
