With a lot of removal in the format with G/B Counters and Mardu Vehicles, this deck "blinks" in creatures ( Acrobatic Maneuver , and Eerie Interlude) when they are targeted to be destroyed. In addition, each creature contains entering battlefield effects that prepare the board for them when they get blinked back in. Hence, blinking not only saves your creature but repeating a Combustible Gearhulk or Noxious Gearhulk entering effect again can be devastating for an opponent and can maintain card advantage for you. It also allows you to block with a creature, and if it goes wrong, blink them back to safety while not taking any damage. Want to attack? Swing with a huge hulk and then play a Guardian to be ready to block with him. Blinking Archangel Avacyn   can save other creatures in combat and constantly make your opponent second guess combat decisions. Plus, it resets her so she can flip for more damage again. The two copies of Fall of the Titans will make an opponent pay by dealing large amounts of damage directly if they keep having you draw with the Combustible Gearhulk since you'll acquire lots of lands and a cheap spell ( Thraben Inspector , Fatal Push, Harsh Scrutiny, or Transgress the Minds) to get the surge cost.

I want to play a lot of removal for aggro decks along with the Harsh Scrutinys to keep a close game early. The hard matchup for this deck is control. I'm still learning how to play control decks, but that's what Nahiri, Shock, extra Solemn Recruits, keeping Fall of the Titans , Refurbish , and the Transgress the Minds are there for. For decks that want to go wide, sideboard in the Cataclysmic Gearhulks.

I'm curious to hear any thoughts, good or bad! I'm still testing the deck but I plan to play it this weekend.
