I feel so sure, there's a reason you are not including Restoration Angel, I just can't see why.

Consider Reveillark maybe? It's pretty funny with Mulldrifter

@subzero719 I'll take it to the maybe's, ty.

@Jiyacen maybe I'm to blind at this moment, but what creature ability should be triggered with it? But great card for my ally-deck, ty 2 :)

@DHWorlds Fun card, but I think I stick with Wall of Omens as a 2 drop atm. Equal toughness and gamewinning creatures here are the flyers.

@Hamster2558 If he only had trample :( Guess I stick with grounded Sagu Mauler, hexproof and trample is just to nice :o

@xyr0s Yeah, this deck is designed to blink on creatures whilst they enter the battlefield, Restoration Angel doesn't quite fit for this purpose. But check my other blink deck linked in description, he's lurking around there ;) Rev is to costly, especially its Evoke costs.

Again, ty all :)

so i think Panharmonicon would actually double any of the ETB effects of all the creatures here, i would consider 1-2 to overkill the blinking

You don't play Reveillark at its evoke cost. You play it at regular cost, and blink it with a blinking-card, when you feel like it (it has "leave the battlefield"-trigger). And contrary to creatures you play at evoke cost, you can just leave this one alone for a while - it doesn't sent itself to the gy.

Coiling Oracle is a really good 2 drop especially if you want to flicker it. might want to consider in place of wall of omens

@tschiller the Briarhorn, Mulldrifter, Wall of Omens and Shriekmaw. I'm not 100% but I believe the Maelstrom Djinn would come in with 4 counters instead of 2 giving you more time to do your blink shenanigans.

xyr0s says... #7

The Maelstrom Djinn only gets its vanishing ability and counters if it's morphed. If you hardcast it or blink it, it doesn't vanish. And since it's morphing, that triggers the djinns ability, rather than entering the battlefield, it doesn't do anything to Panharmonicon.

I'm not too optimistic about Coiling Oracle. I like the card, but it requires 2 colours of mana to play, and the majority of your blink-cards is in another colour. Cost-benefit it makes for a card that is harder to cast than Wall of Omens, harder to get extra mileage out of through blinking, and which dies to Lightning Bolt, in return for a chance at a slightly better benefit than Wall of Omens offers. Apart from card draw, the benefit of the wall, rather than oracle, is that it's a pretty good blocker in the early game. It can block Wild Nacatl and Goblin Guide all day.

I would take out Shriekmaw to prevent having to splash . Instead how about something like Flickerwisp, Reflector Mage, or Fiend Hunter? Fiend Hunter is most like Shriekmaw just better, since when fiend gets blinked, I'm pretty sure the first target is permanently exiled, and the second one comes back like normal when fiend leaves the battlefield. Good luck!

MagicMarc says... #12

Babaloo28 is correct. If you blink a Fiend Hunter in response to the first trigger what happens is the 2nd part resolves first because the Fiend Hunter just left play. Nothing has been exiled yet so nothing returns to play. Then the first part resolves and you exile another target creature. Poof!

MagicMarc thanks for clarifying that, I understand it more now than I did before so thanks for a good explanation!

Any thought of using Elvish Visionary over Wall of Omens? The Elvish Visionary could still swing in for 1 and can still be flickered to draw a card. There's also Reclamation Sage you can use for as a sideboard card for Affinity or Tron matchups.

This deck has a bit of set-up, so Wall of Omens is better in the context. It has toughness 4, meaning that it doesn't die to Lightning Bolt and can block early attackers all day. Swinging for 1 matters less than holding back a Goblin Guide for 2 turns, I think.

You're welcome neosapien. Just had a great game last WE, brought all the morphs to the battlefield and just let the dmg trough. With 5 lifes left played an Eerie Interlude and went for the win. This deck offers so many fun and wtf-moments for the opponent, just golden :D

dude that sounds fun, I need a new magic crew I got no competition. Friends are scavenging the worst cards and trying to make them work, they just don't get it lol

Undying Evil & Supernatural Stamina are great Black "Blinks" and work great with Evoke creatures.

Something even spicier is Elder Deep-Fiend, that you can both Flash in saccing a Evoked creature AND get the trigger for a Win With Briarhorn's trigger.

Very cool deck! I have a blink list myself, maybe you can take some inspiration from it: Eternal Displaceness (finite combo flicker)

I really like what you did with your morph-package...maybe I'll try to include something similar to my list.

This deck sounds fun! Have you thought to try Restoration Angel?

Jup, was cut so I could add even more instants. They are more beneficial to all the other creatures, and it keeps CMC down :)

+1 from me! I have a blink list as well. I took out the Mulldrifter after a friend informed me evoking leads to sacking without the possibility of blinking it. Now I'm hoping someone can shed some light on this for me!
