If you do add more rocks, I'd go for either Fellwar Stone or Mana Vault. Stone helps squeeze out needed colored mana, and Vault allows for consistent turn 2 Brago plays. That, and it's at least 3 easy mana every turn for just a 1-mana investment. 6 or more when paired with Tezzeret, Teferri, or Venser. That, and it's one more tool to help guarantee Resonator goes infinite.

Crap, read Mana Vault as Mana Crypt in your list. This is what I get for posting after just 3 hours of sleep. The points extend to Mana Crypt though. Insane early-game ramp for casting Brago, and it helps smooth mid-game plays and combos.

@SoundTramp- I actually cut Rogue's Passage because I didn't really need it. Brago has flying and, most of the time, that's enough to hit at least 1 person.
@NarejED- Mana Crypt is uber expensive. lol I could proxy it. But would that be a better choice over Fellwar Stone then?

Because I'm feeling I could use more colored mana over colorless, but at the same time, dropping a land for a 0 drop is totally justifiable.

I'm sorry but I have no idea how the Oblivion Ring combo works.

It's in my description.
Brago damage goes through. Trigger. In response, activate Strionic Resonator, copying Brago's trigger. Copy is on top of the stack.
Copy resolves and you exile everything you want to (O-Ring and the Resonator). They return and O-Ring's ETB triggers.
In response to the ETB, activate Resonator, targeting Brago's trigger and putting another copy on top of the stack.
Allow the copy to resolve and exile O-Ring again. The LTB goes on the stack above the ETB and can't return anything.
2 instances of O-Ring's ETB happen in a row. Use the 1st ETB to exile whatever you want gone, permanently. The 2nd ETB will exile something that will return when O-Ring's next LTB triggers.

Yeah I'm just puzzled to how it works that's all.

I'm just confused to why the cards stay permanently exiled. Is it because the LTB triggers when Oblivion Ring is exiled?

The usual way is this: You play O ring, you exile something (under it), O ring leaves the battlefield, the card returns. Now with the stack the fun begins. If you get it done like SorinDankov explained it, you'll have the triggers reversed. The "Oblivion leaves the battlefield, so return the card" effect triggers first, returning nothing. Now the "Oblivion Ring enters the battlefield, exile something" triggers. Since you don't have an O-ring anymore that can bring the card back, it stays exiled.

And it get's even more fun if you do it with something like Angel of Serenity.

Yup. Pretty much, in response to it entering the battlefield, you blink it before it can even target with its ETB. It leaves, triggering its LTB, returning nothing. Then, it enters again triggering ETB. Exile for good, and then another ETB happens, exiling until the next LTB. Since the first ETB already had its LTB happen, its permanently exiled.

Ruling on the card: "If Oblivion Ring leaves the battlefield before its first ability has resolved, its second ability will trigger and do nothing. Then its first ability will resolve and exile the targeted nonland permanent forever."

Oh ok, I understand more. So can you do this multiple times?

If you go infinite with Strionic Resonator, it's essentially a field wipe. But yeah. (: As long as you can respond to its ETB by blinking it, you can do it again. Be sure to +1 if you like!

So when the 2 instances of the ETB happens. You exile one card permanently and with the second do you just exile the next card you want gone forever and then repeat the whole stack bs?
December 18, 2015 12:03 p.m.
KCisSICKnasty says... #19
The 1st ETB on the stack has already had its LTB happen. The 2nd ETB will exile something that will return when it leaves. So, whatever you want gone permanently, use the 1st ETB for. Whatever you exile 2nd will come back next turn when you repeat the process.

What's everyone's opinions on the following changes:
-1 island, +1 Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx
-1 Leonin Relic-Warder, +1 Grasp of Fate: this one in particular. Yes, the leonin can permanently exile like O-ring, but Grasp is global and can target more types of things.

I'd say it's a good deal as long as you can get Oblivion Ring or what not going consistently, and you can exile more dangerous threats more frequently that aren't just artifacts or enchantments.

Watching it wipe a field of commanders is what really intrigued me.

I'm only starting to get into commander but if you exile a commander with cards like Grasp of Fate do they go into the command zone?

Rogue's Passage might be worth running to ensure Brago, King Eternal deals uninterrupted combat damage. This would be more useful late game, but useful nonetheless.
