You don't play my favorite blue creature Trinket Mage. If you can get your hands on a Mana Crypt, I would also add him. You also mabye add Relic of Progenitus for graveyard hate.
I like toolboxes so I always include him in any blue decks.

Well, if I'm going to cut anything for Knight-Captain of Eos, it will be Stonehorn Dignitary. I like my Blade Splicer (3/3 golems evey turn for 3 is totally justifiable), but Wingmate Roc has been on the fence for a while. Just waiting for a dope suggestion to replace him.
Steel of the Godhead is an excellent card, in my own opinion. +2/+2, unblockable, and lifelink for 3? It's not bad at all. What might you consider a better option, though?
Jace's Mindseeker may cost 6, but he's consistently useful every time I cast him. I love milling black players (the MtG color, you racist). "Oh, I'll cast that Demonic Tutor."
As for the Scalding Tarn, it was a random pull from a booster. :P I want to trade it for more stuff since I have a Polluted Delta that will do the same trick. xD It's just so gorgeous and shiny so, it stays in Brago for now. xP
Trinket Mage just doesn't hit enough cards in this deck for me to include, even if I had a Mana Crypt. Right now, he only hits 5 cards, 2 of them being my artifact lands. Relic of Progenitus makes a great sideboard card! Thank you!

Re: Steel of the Godhead: Well, like you said, this is not a voltron deck, so the +2/+2 isn't terribly relevant. The lifelink is nice, but in order for it to activate Brago has to connect, and if Brago is connecting you're probably already on the path to victory regardless. The most relevant part is therefore the unblockable clause. Compare a three mana aura that grants unblockable (with some gravy) to cards like Traveler's Cloak or Unquestioned Authority, which grant effective unblockable along with tremendous card advantage, or Thassa who filters and can be a beater in the lategame, or walker Venser who can give you an additional blink of whatever your most relevant creature-based ETB trigger is. Now, you're already running all those cards, but if you want another one like them, there's always Pentarch Ward. There's also the aforementioned Mother of Runes. Really though, I think you can afford to cut down on your number of evasion-granters, to make room for a powerhouse like Nevermaker or Riftwing. I don't find giving Brago additional evasiveness to be all that important, comparatively, because there's usually at least one opponent with no flying blockers, and that's all you need.

Also it just occurred to me, with all those colorless sources, you could consider Thought-Knot Seer. :)

Hmm. Thought-Knot Seer does interest me. And I have one. I may cut Steel for that and see how it works.

The particularly dope thing about Thought-Knot is that its LTB clause reads "target opponent draws a card." So if you're playing multiplayer and you have an alliance, you can siphon cards off a common enemy and give them to your pal

Still, probably better to just run Vendilion Clique

We'd all love to run V-Clique. xD Sadly, nobody wants to get rid of theirs. xP

Which would you say is better: Riftwing Cloudskate or Nevermaker?

It's possible that Snapcaster Mage has the most powerful etb ability of all.

I actually took Snapcaster Mage out because I don't run enough instants or sorceries to justify him. :/ He did nothing for me.

Open the Armory can net you the Unquestioned Authority or Traveler's Cloak you need to get through with Brago. There's also stuff like Invisibility or Aqueous Form that can accomplish this feet without the cantrip.

First, thanks for the upvote! (:
I don't really need a tutor to grab an aura. I have plenty of ways in the deck to get Brago through. Besides, he has flying. lol He can usually hit. That being said, I don't really need Invisibility and Aqueous Form got the cut for Whirler Rogue. Keeps Brago unenchanted so he can blink himself and produces tokens. (: Thanks for the suggestions though!!

Hmm. Nevermaker vs. Riftwing, that's a tough one. I think I'd have to go with Nevermaker, because if you're playing one on one, just Nevermaker and Brago can lock them out of the game, no Strionic Resonator required.

It's close, though. Bouncing a land every turn is pretty brutal too.

Think I'll go Nevermaker. Sounds cool. I'll make the changes. (:

Dope! Glad you found my input useful. :D I've been tinkering with my own Brago deck for years--I don't have it up on TappedOut because the decklist changes so constantly, but it's definitely my deck of choice and I'm happy to help out another fan of the flicker-buddy.

Question, wouldn't having Trinket Mage give you a little bit better of a chance at getting your turn three win con? Turn three Trinket Mage search for Altar of the Brood play it then swing. If so it might be worth looking into other 1 cmc artifacts maybe Pithing Needle.

KCisSICKnasty says... #24
I'm still not really turned onto Trinket Mage atm. However, I had not really considered Pithing Needle's ETB. Works to shut down Maze of Ith and other craziness of the sort. I'm definitely going to consider it. Thanks much!

You're welcome! Personally, I don't care for the token producers that don't have any extra utility, like Blade Splicer and Wingmate Roc, and you could probably afford to cut one if you're adding another token generator like Knight-Captain. I also don't like Steel of the Godhead. I feel like there are better ways to get Brago through when you need to, that also do something else apart from incidental lifegain. Finally, I find Jace's Mindseeker underwhelming for its cost--I know it acts as a win-condition, but so do so many other cards you're running. Hell, even Tsabo's Web will draw your deck, and it's pretty hard to lose from there.
