@Spoosky I think the reason it doesn't run mana crypt is because you can just untap mana vault with brago and not take 3 damage per turn (assuming you always lose the coin flip which I do)

Nice deck, took some inspiration for my own.
One thing i noticed, you can get your combo off on T2 if lucky enough
t1: Island, Mana Crypt, Sol Ring, Lightning GreevesT2: Plains, Bragos, Equip Greeves, Altar

Nice deck, I like it, and the comment section is really helpful too.Last week I started putting a Brago deck together, as my 2nd EDH deck, and this just popped up on the frontpage, just what I needed. Kind of new to EDH.

Does Oboro, Palace in the Clouds do anything in the deck that I'm too dumb to see? Love the deck though! +1

Oboro, Palace in the Clouds dodges land destruction, but that's about it. Since the deck only ones LD spell (Catastrophe), and little to nothing in the way of Landfall effects, it's not worth using.

It's just extra since I had one. Thanks much for the +1!

I had A most dank experience play testing you deck. So much ETB/LTB happening at once...my only wish is to actually try it out in some real games. It's rather pricey though...there a budget version available?

Glad you enjoyed the deck! (:
Yeah, there's plenty of cards with ETB effects that you could swap some of the pricey ones out for and the expensive lands aren't detrimental to the deck so, you could always run basics.
Thanks much for the +1!

Hi, i use infinite blink combo + Vendilion Clique, the opponent draw all deck, maybe you can replace with Sower of Temptation, bye

Meddling Mage is pretty good at locking out commanders.
Jeering Homunculus is too cool for school. Not great, but he can be real fun.

Hey, love the deck! +1. Question, is there a reason why you're running the artifact lands in this deck? Maybe a combo or something I'm not noticing? Would suck to lose those lands early on due to a Vandalblast or something.

Thanks much! (:
There's no real reason for them. lol I used to have more artifact heavy stuff that took the number of artifacts on my side of the field into account, but now they just stay for nostalgia. It would be better to honestly not run them, most likely. :P but I've yet to have that V-Blast saltiness so, until then, I just like to look at them. x)

Would you make any changes or updates to the list with the new set?

I've got a question. I've recently built my own Brago deck, but I've had the immense problem of people countering Brago as early as turn 3-4. Thus, it takes at least a solid 2+ more turns to keep up with their board state, AND take care of trying to defend against whatever attacks are coming from their end. How do you combat this?

@MordMetal - Mainly Azor, the Lawbringer is getting the add. Definitely can't justify not including him.
@Seetigermage - That's just blue decks for ya. It gets that way. An ideal game, you'd get him out that early. But there are those games where I don't get to go off until as late as turn 6. If I see someone is going to give me crap for casting Brago, I wait until I have something to keep him out. Luckily, everything in the deck CAN work without our main man. He's more of an abuser, making everything have more value. Oh, and politics are key. Act like you're the only guy who can stop that guy. Most of my wins come from a sneak victory, stalling the whole game. Or I draw Bribery and search that dick's Mayael deck.

Love the deck! Question: Brago, King Eternal+Strionic Resonator+Mana Vault (or other mana rock producing at least 2/3 mana) = infinite blinks, and potentially infinite (colorless) mana correct?

Hello. I have been studying Blink Brago Control for few weeks and I have to tell that I probably have found my place in MTG - I need to build this deck. The job that you had done is so good.. I'm gonna create my deck based on yours. Why ? Because your deck is IMO lacking some essential cards and OFC an UPDATE. Yep... you really need an update. Im casual player, any feedback is very appreciated. So I encourage everybody who is reading this to a discussion.
card draw / card selection
Rhystic Study - Every blue commander should play this, why don't we try - gives consistent draw to get more cards..
Mystic Remora - more draw..
Esper Sentinel - kinda new card in magic - gets consistent draw
Teferi, Master of Time - perfect for multiplayer commander and also 1v1 - +1 in opponents' turns. Discard helps to cast Delve ability or to play Snapcaster Mage - its fine I think.
Dig Through Time - Powerful because of delve.
Search for Azcanta Flip - enables delve cards and lets to search graveyard for more options. There are some payoffs like Snapcaster Mage, Sun Titan and more.
Blink
Luminous Broodmoth - Mass removal - even more profit! more blinking!
Soulherder - Every blink deck, please. This enables to get more blinking triggers and payoffs at the same time.
Ghostway && Eerie Interlude - Why not ?
removal
Time Wipe - powerful mass removal spell, despite Supreme Verdict or Wrath of God :)
Disallow - extended counterspell...
Trickbind - counter triggers sometimes are gold worth.
Dovin's Veto - One of the most powerful counterspells in magic. Guesss what. It's Azorius colors ;)
Path to Exile - classic
protection
Lightning Greaves - protect commander
Linvala, Shield of Sea Gate - lets sacrifice it anytime we need...
mana
Thran Dynamo - IMO really underappreciated mana base card.
updates
Phantasmal Image - worse version (but only ... ) of Clever Impersonator
Snapcaster Mage - also seems like you are missign something... Play mass removal or counterspell, or anything discarded even by Teferi, Master of Time
Teferi, Master of Time - Isn't this a must-play in an BW deck now?
Teferi, Hero of Dominaria - Isn't it too much mana?

Teferi, Time Raveler - another one, that needs to be there, on his place, waiting for his moment.

Sevelantis: Teferi, Master of Time can't go in a BW deck, and 5 mana for Teferi, Hero of Dominaria isn't too much in commander. i also wouldn't consider Dovin's Veto one of the most powerful counter spells in magic. better counter spells that come to mind that i don't see in this list include Force of Will , Force of Negation , Archmage's Charm , Absorb , Sinister Sabotage , Dissolve

Honestly, I feel the deck can work regardless. The main purpose is to win out of nowhere. :P Having a partner would just make it easier. I suppose I might include more counter spells in Duel to cement my position as the blue buddy. Cant go wrong with nopes.
