Deadeye Navigator was in here for a long time but never really did anything. :/ Had to give him the cut. lol Since tucking isn't a thing anymore, Brago suits my blinking fancy just fine. :P
Nevermaker is something I've seen in every Brago deck and there's no real reason why I don't run it. I just don't have one and have never had the chance to test it. x) At this point, idk what I would drop for it if I got one.
You're right about Weathered Wayfarer got too excited when I wrote that. Thanks for pointing that out. xP
Drowner of Hope has become a house for Brago. Best addition I've made. xD
Aqueous Form is just a good card because it makes Brago unblockable for 1. Scrying is just a really good bonus. lol
Thank you so much for taking the time to comment and +1 if you like! :D

Good to see you finally put some decent stax elements (Tangle Wire and Tsabo's Web) into the list. I still think you should make the deck competitive and put in Stasis, Embargo, Static Orb, Winter Orb and friends, but it's a good start start at least.

@AlexoBn - thanks much for the compliment and +1! :D
@NarejED - without those, it's still very competitive. lol I just don't want to drop more to add more stax. Would take away from the consistency. Also, I've had Tsabo's Web in here since the beginning. :P

Also, Static Orb is already in as well and has been since the beginning.

Have you tried Duplicant? It might be to mana intensive and a win more card but it does well against threats like indestructible eldrazi and so on

Myr Battlesphere is a little too much overkill. I like the token generators I have now. (:
As for Duplicant, he's been on my maybeboard for awhile. Just took him off. lol My problem is not knowing what to drop. :P

Like, I guess I could cut Swords to Plowshares for Duplicant, but that's such a scary move. Swords is such a good card to have for that instant removal of something problematic. Would make me question keeping Snapcaster Mage. There's just other removal in my deck which is why Duplicant is on the fence for me. Thoughts?

No I would not cut Swords to Plowshares, nor would I question snappy. Maybe cut Rishadan Brigand?

Ouch. That's a steep cut bro. Idk about that. lol If I cut him for anything, it's going to be for Rishadan Footpad
October 27, 2015 1:27 p.m.
@ AlexoBn: If you playtested the deck a little, you'd see that Rishadan Brigand is easily one of the strongest cards in the list. The effect in multiplayer matches is downright terrifying. If anything, he should add the rest of the Rishadan set, not cut them.
I agree with cutting Snapcaster Mage. Not nearly enough effect in larger games. That, and you're only running six spells that can easily be reused with him when he triggers off of Brago's ability. most of the time, he'll either be dead, or his only target will be a counterspell. My first thought when I started optimizing my list was to include Snappy as well, but even on paper it was clear he wasn't anywhere close to being worth running.

I play the deck often. But mostly in 2 player matches on xmage. I can say it definitely forces your opponents to concede :D

But I never had the pleasure to have said card on the battlefield. But best was to flicker Archeomancer and repeatedly cast Time Warp :D

Completely forgot about that Augury Owl I should be playing in my version of Brago... yep, taking that idea.
Any reason not to put in some more Archeomancer redundancy? Seems like a Mnemonic Wall would help make removal even less effective (allowing you to hold up counters against the real big problems) and give more consistency.

I guess it comes down to numbers. I don't run many instants or sorceries, so there's not much of a need. Archaeomancer has been a dead draw for me many times because my deck decided that I wasn't going to have any counters that game. I've thought about it and in the end, decided I'd just keep 1. Thanks for the suggestion though and feel free to +1! (:
As for cutting Snapcaster Mage, I'm really on the fence about it. Just used him in a game today to Silence someone 2 turns in a row. However, that was about all it did. lol What might you suggest dropping it for?

Great list, I don't particularly understand the 'T3 win' combo. I see that you get mulitple triggers from Altar of the Brood, but it's not infinite?
I need to get a Tangle Wire
October 29, 2015 8:07 p.m.
Could you explain it? I don't understand how you get infinite activation

Attack with Brago, damage trigger, blink everything, tap sol ring, float two, use strionic resonator, blink everything, repeat until your opponent has no cards left.

ahhhhhhhhh i see, wasn't thinking about the stack properly! Thank you for explaining :)

I'm surprised to not see Deadeye Navigator in the decklist, but it looks like you don't really need it since you've got a few ways to assemble your combo with the resonator. Deadeye only goes infinite with Peregrine Drake anyways, but is always nice to squeeze out some extra value blinks where needed.
Also sad to not see Nevermaker in a Brago list, but again, you don't really need it here. It's just fun to put your opponents fields on top of their libraries.
I'm not sure how Weathered Wayfarer grabs you two lands a turn, I'm not seeing any way to give haste, unless I'm missing something here. That being said it is great for grabbing that utility land you need.
I'm really liking the token producers you have, especially Wingmate Roc. Drowner of Hope is an awesome addition and will probably replace the Geist-Honored Monk I have. I like how it can be used to get Brago damage through.
I've never tried Aqueous Form but it looks like it might work better than the Pentarch Ward I use for getting damage through, but I like drawing more than scrying.
Your deck is dealing with a budget on a whole new level compared to the deck I have so you have access to a lot more powerful effects. It looks like you've got it trimmed down to the absolutely necessary cards, not much wiggle room for changing things out. Nice list, it's probably a lot of fun to pilot. :D
