@Epidilius i just thought that Deadeye Navigator is a bit sloww for a deck that is trying to be competetive, but since i will shake the deck up a bit i will definitly have a look at it.

Looks pretty solid. You'll definitely want 4x Path to Exile though, because it's just the best removal in Modern, and a couple less Venser, the Sojourner. But it definitely looks like an interesting take, I like it. Also, I would either go with Conjurer's Closet or Deadeye Navigator (probably the latter), but both makes the curve abnormally high.
Additionally, don't know your budget, but that landbase looks pretty shaky to me.

@FAMOUSWATERMELON thx for the help. I am probably going to take out Conjurer's Closet since Deadeye Navigator is more versatile. Also do you know any cheap creatures with an ETB effect? My curve starts at 2 with Wall of Omens and then Blade Splicer. I just feel i need more fast things.
Also do you know some more good green creatures for this deck, since Thragtusk alone isn't really worth the splash

Also one rules question: If my opponent attacks me and i block with a creature (lets just say Nest Invader) and then i play Cloudshift after i declared blockers, does the creature still block and does the damage go through if he doesn't?

Swagtusk is definitely worth the splash if you use him right, trust me :)
Now that I think about it, I would actually just take out the Deadeye Navigator altogether and add two lands, because you don't want to miss a land for your first 4 turns, generally speaking.
January 23, 2016 9:41 a.m.
@FAMOUSWATERMELON actually in my playtesting the Deadeye Navigator was of great help, especially late-game and since there is only two of him he doesn't show up early.
I am actually thinking about instead taking out Restoration Angel for more lands or maybe a Talisman of Progress/Talisman of Unity (or 2 more of Momentary Blink). She hasn't done much for blinking since he is little heavily costed at . Usually Deadeye Navigator or Cloudshift do the trick nicelly.
PS: I am definitly not taking out Isochron Scepter since it has proven so usefull with Cloudshift/Momentary Blink but more importantly Path to Exile. Reusable exile-removal is sooooo good

How about a Cloudstone Curio? While it isn't quite flicker, it does let you get multiple casts off the same creature.
January 23, 2016 12:52 p.m.
@Epidilius Cloudstone Curio seems like more of a removal spell but i have Meddling Mage/Phyrexian Revoker for that. The problem is that it doesn't blink, but return to the hand. But thx for the suggestion anyways
January 23, 2016 1:49 p.m.
The curio bounces permanents you control, not permanents in general.
Basically, when a creature ETB you can bounce a creature. When you play a land you can bounce a land. Same with enchantments.
I thought you might like it because it has a lowish mana cost, and can let you replay creatures.
January 23, 2016 2:33 p.m.
@Epidilius yea but at three mana my game starts and i have more important things to do then set up more late-game pressure. i need to have either Blade Splicer or any Isochron Scepter combo out by then to have a chance againts the stronger decks. But for casual play it seems like a no-brainer

Have you thought of Horizon Canopy? Or is it out of budget?
January 31, 2016 5:44 a.m.
@Sinist3r The landbase is always upgradable. I am trying to keep it budget but Horizon Canopy is just a strickt upgrade from Brushland.

I think Restoration Angel would be better than Deadeye Navigator. Also, If you have the Monetary funds, less Isochron and More Snapcaster. 2-3 Venser seems fine, but I'm probably biased because I love walkers. Between Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker, Goblin Dark-Dwellers, Pia and Kiran Nalaar and perhaps Avalanche Riders in the board, I think red might just be the way to go.. Resto+Kiki is also a great instant win button against superfast decks you may struggle to beat
February 6, 2016 9:47 a.m.
@jackanukealty thx for the helpfull comment, but i have a few questions:
First i brewed around with Restoration Angel already but it never seemed that usefull to me, but that may be because i am using it wrong so why is it apereantly so usefull?
Next is Snapcaster Mage. I don't think he is better than Isochron Scepter because it exiles the spell so it can "only" be used twice but i would like to hear why he is so usefull for everyone else too.
Finally the red splash. Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker doesn't really hook me quite much because of the in the mana cost, slthough he could maybe activate some ETB effects. I just feel that he isn't worth the splash alone. Goblin Dark-Dwellers just seems like a worse snapcaster to me. Pia and Kiran Nalaar are fine but Blade Splicer and Thragtusk usually do the trick for me even without the flying. Lastly Avalanche Riders seems good since my curve has nothing at four yet, but i usually really start the game at turn 4 since i have open mana with a lot of things to do.
It could be really cool if you could explain why these cards are good since i am a pretty new player and i don't really get it.
February 6, 2016 10:04 a.m.
It's useful because you tap Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker to put a copy of Restoration Angel into play, which flickers Kiki, which taps to put a Resto into play, which flickers Kiki, etc, etc, etc. You now have infinite flying haste damage. If you do go Kiki-Resto/Conscripts/we, you'd probably be better off focusing the deck around that combo, so I would probably leave the red out. The angel is definitely worth considering though. As long as you have one in hand (and 4 mana to play it) your opponent can do nothing to your creatures.
As for Snapcaster Mage, it's because he lets you use anything in your grave. It also lets you surprise your opponents. Finally, it hits everything, not just CMC 2 or less, and you don't have to worry about it being destroyed (so chump block away). The Goblin Dark-Dwellers and a slower Snappy on a bigger body.
I would only do Pia and Kiran Nalaar and Avalanche Riders if I was going mono red like he suggested.

thx Epidilius for your answers (and sorry for rewriting so late).
Anyway i feel that Isochron Scepter does the job for me since i only use 2CMC spells and i would much rather play them more often than once. Also if the Sceptre is on the field i don't really need to wory about Restoration Angel IMO since i most likely have another blink-effect in hand or i can just use the sceptres effect. HOWEVER since artifact hate is so common in sideboards (see Stony Silence) i think Snapcaster Mage makes a great sideboard option for anyone with the cash.
Next is Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker. I really don't want to make this a splinter-twin deck, since i don't think it is valuable anymore since the bann of Splinter Twin and the other red cards just aren't worth the splash for me.
Thx for your help though and i would appreciate more cool ideas for the deck to think about :)
February 9, 2016 4:50 a.m.
thx markszncd for your tip. As far as i recall you can blink the morph-Token to bring out the unmorphed creature right?
Anyway i will experiment around a bit with them as an alternate win-con. Maybe Sagu Mauler in the maynboard and if the oppoennt plays white or blue i will instead put in Akroma, Angel of Fury.
February 13, 2016 7:23 a.m.
Yea Jolty i guess i went a bit all out XD
Still it is cheaper than most modern decks (if you don't take in the upgradable Landbase) so i guess it still works.

thx for the suggestion RamblinMan.
I already worked with Flickerwisp but he doesn't really fit and there isn't really a place in the deck for Stonehorn Dignitary and Lavinia of the Tenth since they are very controlly creatures (or maybe for the sideboard). This deck is more focused on card draw and tokens but you can put them in if you want to
