Have you considered putting in some mana ramp or mana fixing in the deck? It looks like the deck might be a little vulnerable early in the game. How has it played early on?
I might consider putting in a Harrow, Cultivate or Rampant Growth in there. They should be cheap, like, under a quarter or so, when I last looked? Also, another card if you want to be kinda vicious might be Tainted Strike, using it with Mage Bane or on an enemy's attack might be good... And Far Wanderings is normally pretty mana hungry, but if you're tossing things into the graveyard anyway, that could be another card to consider for some ramp with the threshold effect.
I'm also not sure how much value you'd be getting out of Ruric Thar or Valroz. How've they worked out for you? It seems like Shattergang Brothers would provide more value to me.

HolyCowie: thanks for the suggestions! You're probably right -- the mana base could definitely be improved with things like Gruul Turf or Command Tower. Those ramp suggestions are all likewise good. I like Valroz because he's a free instant-speed sacrifice outlet with an optional ability to scavenge your stuff in a pinch, but you might know of a creature that outclasses him. Ruric Thar is excellent deterrent to control-heavy decks, in addition to being a good body, but he is probably overshadowed by Shattergang Brothers (the only reason they were in SB is because I don't like paying 2B to sac creatures).
If you've got the time, do you have any suggestions on what your cards, or other SB cards I've got, should replace in the deck? Thanks again for your feedback!

Love these decks! +1. I have one of my own, come have a see, steal my ideas with pride and leave a comment Big Bob, the True Hero of Fight Club
I recommend that if you focus on damage-dealing, go all the way and cut the cards that give trample or otherwise promote battle. Finishers like Overwhelming Stampede aside ofcourse.
Get ready, there is work to be done! :)
- Butcher of Malakir for making saccing hurt. Poor mans Grave Pact that can attack.
- Chandra's Ignition boom.
- Grab the Reins - final Kick from Kresh, or steal and abuse.
- Hamletback Goliath Why stick to one huge creature?
- Harvester of Souls draw even faster and deathtouch is nice.
- Hornet Nest - see the combo with Chandra's Ignition or Fling> :)
- Lace with Moonglove - fun cantrip with damage dealing creatures.
- Overwhelming Stampede - nobrainer
- Rite of the Raging Storm - very funny, VERY effective.
- Spitebellows evoke and maybe even fling as a reaction.
- Tombstone Stairwell tokenmilling
- Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest for the +1/+1 token subtheme.
And to sacrifice, you need tokens. Try these:- Avenger of Zendikar - expensive, but tradable for the Pod- Prossh, Skyraider of Kher as mentioned- Endrek Sahr, Master Breeder- Fresh Meat - Hello again!- Fungal Sprouting- Mitotic Slime- Necrogenesis- Ophiomancer- Rakka Mar- Skirsdag High Priest
And when budget allows:
- Cauldron of Souls Die Hard, double dip */1 creatures of opponents and return stolen cards when they die.
- Greater Good your empty-hand-days are over.
- Savage Beating for cleaning up
To cut:
- Is Birthing Pod very effective? You need a steady casting cost-rise for it to work.
- Tireless Tracker - there are better cards out there for tokens and better ones for draw.
- Darigaaz, the Igniter meh, not in this theme. Try Prossh, Skyraider of Kher instead.
- Korozda Guildmage keeping 4 mana open just to make a bunch of 1/1 tokens is expensive.

landofMordor : Cards to improve your Fling damage, I might think of Bitter Feud (which is also fun if you play it between two other players) and Dictate of the Twin Gods (which can be flashed in) Both cost 5 mana though (4R and 3RR, respectively, but they double damage and TCGPlayer has them listed at <$0.30
Also, another card to consider is Chandra's Ignition and Soul's Fire, which also deal direct damage (Without killing your Kresh, as a bonus)
In regards to the Brothers, 2B might suck a little bit, but you have to remember that everyone else has to sac a creature, so it's still usually going to be a positive.
I don't know how much value you're getting out of Deadbridge Chant, Darigaaz, or Evolving Wilds.
Some other just general use cards to consider might be the Obelisk of Jund, the three relevant Guild Signets (Gruul, Rakdos, Golgari), Sek'Kuar, Deathkeeper (as a maybe, since you look like you're gonna be killing a lot of your creatures) and Rite of the Raging Storm, which is awesome for Kresh since it makes 5/1 elementals that can't attack you and have to be sacrificed at end of turn but might make you a big target, since y'know... 1 turn, and Kresh has the potential to gain 20 counters without you doing anything. Rampant Growth is also another basic (and cheap, at ~$.25 and 1G) form of mana ramp/fixing. All of those cards should be budget friendly as well.

Tyr_W Are Avenger of Zendikar and Prossh, Skyraider of Kher really good cards to put into a Kresh deck? Because it seems like the tokens they'd be making are less than helpful... I might be missing something >.< Or are we talking about fuel for things like Shattergang Bros, Zulaport Cutthroat and other supports?
I kinda suspect that the Trampler enablers are there more for the potential to kill someone with Commander damage, then Fling at someone else. But now that you mention it, I didn't notice that Overwhelming Stampede was missing. Of course, I'm also the kind of bastard that would put in Triumph of the Hordes in my decks, because I hate people :-P
landofMordor whoops, forgot to format my post.
So, some cards I was recommending:
For bigger booms:Bitter Feud, Dictate of the Twin Gods, Chandra's Ignition, Soul's Fire, Rite of the Raging Storm
For basic ramping: Gruul Signet, Golgari Signet, Rakdos Signet, Obelisk of Jund, Rampant Growth
Cards I'd cut: Darigaaz, Deadbridge Chant, Evolving Wilds
And after Tyr_W mentioned it, Tireless Tracker and Birthing Pod can both go. I was a little on the fence about them, but they really are kinda pricey. Especially for a Budget deck. And if you aren't using Combat, you can probably get rid of the Trample enablers, like Archetype of Aggression or Crowned Ceratok
Hit/Run also probably isn't doing you too many favors either, since you're not going wide, but rather hitting with 1 massive guy.

HolyCowie The 0/1 tokens don't feed Kresh by themselves. However, more than enough cards eat tokens for lunch, like Bloodspore Thrinax or act on dying creatures like Rage Thrower. And there are quite some +1/+1 cards in the deck like Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest and the Avenger itself. And last but not least, Prossh is a great and free sac-outlet that you can pump up and use for Flingfodder as he dies.
I like Evolving Wilds as it will give you the land you need, filter a land-card out of your deck and if you're lucky, trigger landfall-abilities twice. This all at the cost of 1 tapped land :)
I love the suggested Dictate of the Twin Gods. It is a gamble, as it could hit you just as hard, but Kresh is not for the weak-hearted so that's fine.
August 17, 2016 2:34 p.m.
O, and I almost forgot Impact Tremors when going for the tokens.
August 17, 2016 2:46 p.m.
Tyr_W So yeah, the tokens are feeding the other guys...
As for the Evolving Wilds, the card I would normally be replacing it with would be Harrow... I just don't really like Evolving Wilds/Terramorphic Expanse unless we're dealing with a deck that deals with Landfall or Land sacrificing, like Angry Omnath. I suppose it's just a personal taste sorta thing. A Jund Panorama would be a better substitute here, wouldn't it?

Tyr_W and HolyCowie, thanks for the suggestions. It's probably obvious I haven't actually built this deck yet and it's still in the "look how cool this could be" stages, so your suggestions really refine the deck. I'll do some significant work and post an update ASAP. Thanks to both of you for the great feedback!

Add something like Untamed Hunger
Kresh enchanted by Alpha Authority gives him hexproof and can only be blocked by one creature. Then enchant with cards such as Untamed Hunger, Kresh becomes giant Invisible Stalker

KuraiU thanks for the feedback! That is an effective combo; however, I'm not actually trying to make commander damage my main kill method. Generally, with Alpha Authority out, Kresh can steadily grow in P/T until he can abuse an engine like Burning Anger, Essence Harvest, or Surestrike Trident. If I had chosen to take the deck in a "deal absurd amounts of combat damage" direction, your suggestion would be perfect, so don't let me discourage you from implementing it yourself; it's just not the direction I've chosen to go with this build. Thanks again!

landofMordor Yea I made the suggestion before I read the synopsis
Since this a budget deck I may actually use it as a template for when I build my Kresh deck. Thanks for making such a cool deck

KuraiU I am honored. I'll be happy to provide feedback when you finish your build, just let me know! Thanks for the encouragement.

landofMordor on another note, how did you pull up the cards with the prerelease/ game day stamps on them?

Optimator, you honor me. Thank you! Your encouragement means a lot. And the Bloodbraided may even spare your life as a result :p

Thanks for your feedback, KuraiU! In fact, I was thinking about adding in something like Pestilence Demon or Sanguine Praetor for those mass-removal effects, but the unconditional edict effects like Dictate of Erebos aren't quite the direction I want this deck to head, especially considering I've got some edicts in my Karador deck and I don't love double-dipping on cards too often. But thank you for the suggestion! I really appreciate it.

Have you considered Drana, Kalastria Bloodchief? I feel like she is a great add for any deck that wants to get rid of opponent creatures and had access to black.

I'm having some thoughts about making use of Xathrid Necromancer for the tokens he produces to sacrifice to the braided man. Do you think it would be possible to make this deck idea work with more humans?

UnleashedHavoc, Human sacrifice tribal is probably possible in Jund colors, though I expect it'd be weaker without W. Deranged Outcast, Obsessive Skinner, Tooth Collector, Skirsdag Flayer, Falkenrath Aristocrat, off the top of my head. Anything Skirsdag, really. And there are probably plenty of human warriors, too. You could add to that by putting in demons like Ravenous Demon Flip, I think. Does that sound like a direction you're leaning? It's less of a go-wide, and more of a "buff up individual creatures really really big". Which is still valid, for sure.

Hey friend! So I've veered away from my human tribal thought process. I might go back just to try it out for grins, I'm not sure yet. I do have a suggestion for a fun seeming budget token generator. Mitotic Slime. I think this card would do great things in your deck. Mitotic plus a free sac engine with Kresh on the board would be pretty damn amusing. It would be even more hysterical with Corpsejack Menace on the field
