Thinking of dropping BloodThrone for 1 more ghoul or parasite, or two ghouls..but I feel as soon as I take her out, I may need her for that sac outlet...

I just got finished playing my first tourney, which happened to be a PTQ. I played your deck with 0 Godless Shrine and 0 Isolated Chapel. Having really no idea how any of the combos worked or knowing what I'm doing, I managed to go 0-2, 1-2, 2-0, 2-0. If I would have known how they worked, or been more experienced I would have probably killed it. Would you mind helping explain exactly how you would like to play this deck? OFWGKTA

That....That just makes me happy...Tears up Okay mate I can. You want to play it like an aggro deck. You have to be aggressive with it. You attack when you can and if blood artist is up creatures dying helps you. Sometimes you can not be aggressive here and have to play defensive, Lingering likes that role.
I can win without attacking here as well. You have to know when to sac and when not too. I have won without attacking. The thrull plays with the messengers counters allowing you to sac him a lot to trigger artist and more damage. ALWAYS attack with crawler and some others if possible, and messenger if you have thrull on the field. If he already has a counter attack with with him and if he gets blocked to be killed THEN remove the counter. he dies comes back, more damage. Extort what you can when able and save control for really bad things or to clear the board early game.
This deck plays like aggro early but than goes to a more combo tactical standpoint latter game if it makes it there. By killing creatures at the right time and combo-ing right for massive health lost. Sorin can and should be used for his tokens and his emblems. They do stack, his ultimate is not really needed in this deck, but you can do it if you wish. I would rather get those tokens.
Use Mutilate to stabilize the board or as a win con. 7 creatures on the field, and a Blood Artist up? They have 7 life? MUTILATE!!!!! Kill the board and win the game.

I've played this deck as well with pretty good success - the main board is finely tuned IMO, but then I can't help but tinker...
I've had a couple games where all the creatures I needed to drive the game were in the graveyard - Gravecrawler and Blood Artist. Usually end up in that situation where someone dings any Blood Artist as fast as they can, then get wiped or eventually have to chump block my creatures away.
I'm considering Immortal Servitude, although am really struggling on what to replace. Will try Lingering Souls to start as it's a higher CMC card (LOL) and isn't in the core mechanic of sac-reanimate/undy-extort.
Since there's so many 1CMC and 2CMC creatures, you can pull a lot of creature out of the graveyard and reset your board. With that in mind, though, I think there needs to be a 2 CMC zombie so Gravecrawler can be played if you go for the Blood Artist and Cartel Aristocrat retrieval. My pick so far for that role is Butcher Ghoul for undying.
I will modify my mainboard
-2x Diregraf Ghoul
+2x Butcher Ghoul
-1x Lingering Souls

Ok I don't comment on decks very often but I have been playtesting the hell out of this deck. Extremely impressed with its success. I've made changes to my mainboard I thought I would recommend: I'm running 4 thrulls... no questions asked. This and aristocrat are the heart of the deck.2 o rings - helps with threats like enchantments, etc2 cloudshifts - you would be surprised how angry some people get when they thought they were finally going to get rid of geralf only to find out he lives and they take 2 damage and he doesn't have a counter - and only one mana?!2 diregraf ghouls. I took out the bloodthrone vamps2 cavern of souls. Can't let those messangers get countered
So far with these edits I've been unstoppable.Just my 2 cents

Very nice build. I played against an almost identical list tonight at FNM. Very tough match for me, but I ended up pulling it off. I think had he been running Blood Artist I wouldn't have lived considering I didn't stabilize until I hit 3 life. Glad to see someone running guildgates and making them work. They get hated on so much around here, and my usual response is "How often do you play a shock land untapped mid-late game? Almost never, so what's wrong with a guild gate other than early game when you want/need your dual it comes into play tapped." The deck looks like it has great synergy, I'll definitely put it together and play-test it to see how it runs. Without playtesting the only thing I can see that I would change is -1 Tragic Slip +1 Orzhov Charm just because of the utility of charms multiple abilities. +1 from me. If you get a chance take a look at my grixis home brew I took to FNM tonight. Undefeated Post-Gatecrash Grixis Control

Have you thought of trying 3 messenger/crawler/parasite and adding in 3 Bloodthrone Vampire for an additional beatstick/sack outlet?

I had Bloodthrone in the old version 2 of them. The Falkenrath is the new beat stick.
Thrull & Messenger Are Staple cards here. I want them everygame with crawler.

Lol. 4 a.m. for me, tho I don't sleep much. I keep going thru your list thinking man, I would hate to play against this, and yet at the same time thinking, man I want to play against this to see it ran first hand. How's the synergy of the deck? I'm curious about any bad match ups you have, and how well the deck flows.

Lol, this deck is like only two-weeks old as of yesterday, Lol thanks man.
The synergy was pretty amazing before hand. Now it is just amazing! At least for me. I feel like I have really helped stop this decks bad hands and match-ups. I have gone really well against a lot of match-ups so far.
Aggro some times is the tough one before hand. I have one against a human lifelink aggro. With the old list. The changes now let it go toe to toe with one.
I can also see good control and removal getting me if they do it enough where I can not set up at all.

Hey bud, just something I see, and there is possibly a reason for this, but you only have 4 humans in your deck, (those being the cartel aristocrats). So Falkenrath Aristocrat does not get that beefy in this deck. Granted she becomes indestructible with the constant token output and she gains double strike from the boros charm. I just think there are better ways to have her work a little bit better in this deck. I was a big fan of your deck before all the updates.
Keep up the good work.

@x8bitGangsta I have a bit of a similar deck, I use Doomed Traveler for a solid sac outlet for Falkenrath Aristocrat . So far it works. Would you mind taking a look and giving feedback? Aristo-sac

The deck preforms very well. I didn't need the Falkenrath for it to excel. It allows me to get another strong beater that sticks around. I don't really need her to get real beefy in this. The deck does aggro well, real well. She makes it where I am swinging over their heads all the time. I would only really have to hit with her once or twice maybe before ending the match. The deck still works like it did yesterday. The only real changes I made to the board was - Obzedat, Sorin, Mutilate, and Bone Splinters, and I added The Falkenrath, Boros charm, 1 Sublime and a Orzhov Charm.
It was just a few Minus spell here and there that didn't really make or break the deck, just added to it. I believe this build just adds more. It allows me to stay aggressive the entire game. I can still win like I used to do as well. I feel this build is just more aggressive.
