This is how you build a vampire deck. Some other fast vamp builders may not like quest for the gravelord, but it has always come through for me in those games that go just a couple turns to long. Kalastria is to help BLDchief ascension get on her feet and increases the suicidal feel. My former deck had 12 removal spells and 4x gatekeeper's. Here is the improved version, changing out 2/3 the removal for additional blade of the bloodchief and vampire hexmages.

Personally, a turbo vampire deck is the only mono-black vamp deck worth the while. This eats slower vampire decks, cannibal style.
