So I cleaned up at FNM tonight for the most part coming in second place! I almost had the guy I was playing for the first spot, but he abrupt decayed my vozkopa guildmage before I could activate my infinite blood combo :(
Game 1 was against a budget Boros deck. King lear and vampire nighthawk just straight out wrecked him
Game 2 was against a Dimir mill deck. Round 1 I managed to pull of an Infinite blood combo after he had Lazav, Dimir Mastermind clone a King lear he milled, than round 2 I sideboarded in 2x Pithing Needle and used em on Lazav and Mirko Vosk, and won with a pumped up debt to the debtless
Game 3 was against the R/U/B/ deck from the last FNM. First round the poor guy got severely mana-screwed.. it finished up round 5 with basic agro. Round 2 I sideboarded in 2x pithing needles to nullify his sire and jace, mind adept and than used an infinite blood combo on him ftw.
Game 4 was toughhh. The dude was using a W/G/B token deck, and had 4 Voice of Resurgence :S First round was over extremely quickly. He dropped temple garden and arbor elf, than got out 2 voices and a loxodon smighter by round 4 and just blew me away.
Round 2 I got lucky and drew all of my O-rings and fiend hunters relatively early, and exiled his creatures before they became to big a problem. Tithe drinker and king lear took care of the rest.
Round 3 went much the same as round 1, except I got a crypt ghast, vizkopa guildmage and exquisite blood onto the field. I nearly activated Infinite blood combo, but he abrupt decayed the guildmage, and pretty much killed me the turn after -_-
Over all I think the deck is working great!
