When I was looking for something to build around amongst my collection, I found It That Betrays and really wanted to build around the opponent being able to sacrifice. However, as the play testing went on, I found that It That Betrays didn't fit anymore, so I tossed him out.

The reason is, before I have the mana to cast It, I was able to wipe the opponent's field and use Liliana Vess's final ability to take control of everything. Focusing more on the combo of Vess and the Butcher of Malakir helped build the deck you see now.
