Whenever I get Sorin out my opponent always tries to kill him off ASAP. Usually I only get 1-2 turns with him out, rarely enough time to use his -6. However, a strategy that can be useful with Sorin is to just use his -2 twice, killing him and giving all your creatures +2 +0 for the whole game

Sorin, Lord of Innistrad works ok from my standpoint. i've had it work well before. the original Sorin Markov would work better for sure but he isn't standard anymore. you are the second person to suggest ditching him but im still not 100 percent convinced he should go. i usually use him the way toss mentioned either as a token generator or to get emblems. i have debated taking him out and putting Geralf's Messenger back in as a quick hit and sac creature but i'm not sold on that yet either.

I would recommend keeping Sorin in if you want some extra stall time. If your opponent is focused on taking Sorin out then you get some extra breathing room. If they dont then you get all the benefits of having him out for multiple turns

If your opponents seem overly prepared to deal with sorin you could just side board him and leave them hanging, if they don't then you get free lifelink tokens that can be sacrificed so it works out in the long run.

changed a few things. i like Killing Wave over Mutilate now seeing as how i can do a great deal of damage. Mutilate seems to never work the way i want it too so i'm sideboarding it for now. took out the high priest. After playing this a bit more tonight sacking to the priest does get you tokens that are huge but you need to have a great deal of you field tapped to do so. seeing as how my creatures arnt built to live long he isnt fitting well. i added back in Geralf's Messenger for the damage and the fact that he is a zombie and flows with the theme more. i now need to seriously consider getting a sideboard item to stop artifacts and enchantments better too. a few artifacts esp. tonight boned me hard :(

went 2 and 2 this week but decided to change the play of the deck a bit from now on. added a 4th Geralf's Messenger 3 Restoration Angel and added Sundering Growth into the sideboard. we will see how well it works soon but i like the ideas in the deck for sure. i think it's solid :)

oh and replaced the Blood Baron of Vizkopa with Obzedat, Ghost Council might still side in the baron for black white match ups though

This is solid. Resto for obzedat and Geralf's?If yes then lower your curve by swapping her for simple Cloud Shift
I played a humans deck at GP Miami that used it (until I slaughter games it)It got.the job done. To bad his only win con was Champion.

Also, its that time again. Rotation. So go on Ebay and prepurchase Xathrid Necromancer. I am looking at humans that are not rotating. So far it looks like I have the start of a solid build for rotation.
